Thank you. I got one of those already but the one I wanted is the colour changing one so I could reuse it. I found it on Amazon and they’ll ship it to Norway :). Thank you anyway

thank you! I compared prices between Amazon and Aliexpress and it was actually cheaper on Amazon, so I went for 2kg of the orange changing color one (I’ll use it also around the house)
Yeah, I got one of those, but I was looking for the reusable ones that change color from orange to green. Thank you anyway
Thanks, I’ll take a look at it
Yes, very much. It had even a few more really useful tricks like press and hold on a comment and a menu would pop up to let you do different actions, like reply, quote, select text, save the comment or even translate it using google translate. It was really awesome, clean and intuitive.

A bit nerve racking the first days trying out the first post in Lemmy and missing a good app for mobile (being used to Apollo set the bar quite high) and then I discovered wefwef.app and now I feel like home again (don’t be afraid of the fact that it’s a web app, it’s really well done and fast and smooth, and looks like Apollo).
Full screen? I’ve not tried it there yet but that’s amazing!
So true! I’ve not printed yet a single benchie or any other calibration test on it, while on my previous printer (Artillery X2) I wasted a lot of time and filament trying to fix layers banding and flow rates and even choosing the right slicer. I was also always concerned to start a new big print not knowing if it would succeed or fail. Those times are gone now
Same here. I’m an Apple user since 2008 but had a bad period in my life where I needed to squeeze every € and couldn’t afford a new Mac so I had to build myself a Hackintosh, which was ok at the beginning but missing a lot of things (the special connectivity between devices like airdrop or continuity) but now I’m recovered and bought a Mac Mini M2 and it’s like coming fully home again. No more random panics or wasting time diagnosing errors, and it’s incredibly fast. The jump in performance jumping from a Haswell CPU to a M2 in mind blowing and a joy to appreciate every time I use it
I recommend you to give it a try anyway. Once you install the icon on your desktop, it loads like a native app and works really smooth. I’m really loving it and helps a lot with the grief of losing Apollo.
OMG! I did it right now out of curiosity and a bit cautious and it’s a web app that looks and behaves like Apollo!! What’s this magic?? It works incredibly well! Thank you!
For all of the people here who knows about 3D printing, this happens all the time with every market: fixing some kind of issues for some kind of pipes for a plumber may seem like a steal, but it’s what they take for their knowledge about how to fix it. I’ve been a professional computer repair man and at the beginning I also couldn’t believe people would pay to help them to reinstall Windows on their PCs, because to me that was really simple. But most people don’t know and don’t want to know about some things (you and me included) and are willing to pay for a service or a good that they want. Your knowledge about 3D printers has value and you can benefit from it.
Being said that, those statues seem to be made with the cheapest printer and filament they could find. If at least they used a better printer and some marble filament, it would look more professional or appealing
I do the same with the small bags so I can toss them inside the filament bags when I store them but I need some extra for the AMS to keep the filament dry inside while they’re waiting to be used there. Specially the changing color one as it’s reusable (buy once, use for years)
