(for some reason i cant comment the main post so sorry OC) I use an adjustable grip strength trainer from a sports store. When i want something to do with my hand i lower the strength required to squeeze it, when i want to train my muscles i turn it up again.
I seem to have the same problem, so I follow your lead. So what I want to tell OP was.
In my country a regular toy store works perfectly fine, some time even a bigger well stoked grocery store. You can usually find at least two whole shelf just for different stim toys.
