    That doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to classify Alzheimer’s as type 3 diabetes, but I’m no expert. From my understanding, type 1 and 2 diabetes is just the pancreas being unable to produce and maintain proper insulin levels. Alzheimer’s is thought to be caused by a plaque-like build up on the brain, if I recall correctly. I don’t really see how the 2 are related, but again I’m not a doctor or anything.

      I think it’s more a high correlation between blood sugar, tau protien buildup, and Alzheimers risk. But it’s not straight forward. If high blood sugar caused Alzheimers, most diabetics would get Alzheimers - which isn’t the case. There’s something else coming into play.
