    See… I think it’s kind of a bad game for all the same reasons.

    I think I bounce pretty hard off the stated intent to make the player feel the suffering of living through war. I’m not going to play a game that intentionally sets me up to fail.

      I can kinda agree. I mean, I usually play to have fun and blow off the stress of a work day. This War of Mine isn’t good for neither. But it’s an amazing game and I agree, it’s built to make you fail. But how else will it let you feel how civilians feel in a war if it was easy to win?

          Eh, I like games with minimal gameplay and heavy story. I loved What Remains of Edith Finch and Dear Esther.

          I also like more intense games as well, like the Metro series and Alan Wake.

          Different games for different moods.
