    Look it up, you shall be disappointed. They did create an artificial moon! But it is only 2-feet in diameter. It is also not launched into the atmosphere to look like a moon, but rather used in a research facility where they simulate moon-gravity with magnetism.

    So they watch dust and tiny rocks roll around on a magnetic sphere.

      That’s pretty cool actually. Better than a boondoggle that’ll justify some meetings for bureaucrats and go nowhere.
