I Wanna Maker is a free fan-made game that lets you create “I Wanna Be the Guy” levels. It quickly grew to be so much more. If you’re a fan of Mario Maker or precision platformers in general, you should give it a try.
Do you need to be like super good to enjoy this (as it seems to get comparisons to Kaizo smw) or can you play this casually?
Not at all, you can adjust clear rate (difficulty) when browsing levels. I just played one playlist of 15 easy levels and it was really fun and simple.
The campaign levels are kind of hard, though. Nowhere near “I wanna be the guy” levels of hard but it’s made for people that are good at platforming, so you may want to stick with community levels if you get stuck.
It’s a maker game, so there’s no reason to believe you can’t make easy levels.
I’d argue that it’s for all skill levels — and you can always make your own levels.
It’s free, so there’s no reason to not give it a go.
