Please don’t buy something out of a feeling of guilt. Shops don’t depend on your donations. It would be unfair to support shops but not the homeless. Universal Basic Income is the only true solution.
For it to become uncanny to most people and they always ask “Why are you acting so strange”
If it helps, everyone has awkward moments, practices interactions and regrets some afterward. Most just don’t want to talk about it.
As always, it’s about the frequency and intensity. “Everyone” doesn’t practice “hi, how are you?”
