There are other factors here that could explain these discrepancies- if they exist at all, because again this comment is so inflammatory that it reeks of personal bias, bad faith, or fabrication- such as: how kids treat gaming peripherals as opposed to phones, placement of the charging port on the device, placement of the items in your house, quality of materials in the device (remember you’re comparing phones to old, $60-$100 items), your perspective focusing more on negative experiences than positive, etc.
