Well, the best part of 5 minutes is that first 30 seconds; the rest is kinda boring. So maybe they pissed themselves for 30 seconds.

I had a problem with cards getting demagnetised, for a long time. IDK if i just have different stuff in my wallet now or what, but it happened to me for years and then stopped happening, years ago.
Cashiers would always try rubbing it with a plastic bag, which frequently worked, which makes me think something something static electricity something magnets??
From what I remember of the Neverending Story (the book), Bastian Balthazar Bux is just some kid with a good imagination, and he ends up as essentially their god; so.
Artificial gravity only works if you keep your ship flat.
Or maybe hang this one in the kitchen

Holy shit this got me well done
Fair enough. I guess I’m not saying “there’s no point in --” because I know people do these things. (Man, I wish I had the attention span to read as much as you.) I’m just saying I’m not going to host something just to keep track with no recommendations or interaction because that doesn’t click for me personally.
Same. I don’t really see the point of tracking what you read if you’re not interested in connecting it to other peoples’ readings. Storygraph has been great.
Yeah IDK I’m not a 1960’s censor so I kinda think maybe they wouldn’t care either way.
Yeah it’s the literal meaning but not many people use it that way. I’m not surprised the censors let this one slide, even if it was in the script they wouldn’t have got it.
“Neither” means
When they tell you they’re walking back Recall and it’s “off by default”, remember that they constantly do this shit.
I hate amazon as much as the next guy but the way this works is documented and well-known. The people who stored it there fucked up.
“Big bag value”
The real winged god move would be to just block.
It does rhyme better, but why would they change that?
This is true but also the way her date phrased the response was pretty rude af. If someone references a movie I don’t know, I don’t go “La-dee-da, look at Mr. Film Buff over here,” since that would be fucking rude (and I also like films, but that doesn’t mean I know most of them).
I would probably instead say, “Is that a movie you like? Should I watch it?”
“It got me” as in “I was surprised and laughed really hard”
