Most of the jobs were short term, I’d guess they did find out, or the performance was subpar and they fired him at the end of his probationary period.

The recruiter is who I want to yell at. Her whole job is to find real candidates, and I was able to figure out in 5 minutes that something was off about the guy just from comparing LinkedIn and his resume, and then doing a quick Google search with his name + employers.
Unless you get caught. We were supposed to interview someone the other day, so I googled him, and found out that his resume and LinkedIn job histories don’t match. That lead me down a rabbit hole where I found out he is working multiple full time jobs simultaneously while most likely farming the work offshore, and his job titles were completely wrong inaccurate on both LinkedIn and how resume. Also the references he listed appear to be himself, as their job history is also not real.
Not only did his interview get cancelled, he’s marked as non-hireable in the future.
CK3 was the last straw for me. It’s been years, and the DLC released is both expensive and lacking in the mechanics of CK2.
They also changed their philosophy so fewer and worse DLC, at least for CK. It does not appear that CK3 will ever have feature parity with CK2.
It feels like every Paradox sequel is worse than the previous game lately. CK3 is garbage compared to CK2 for instance, even after years of DLC.
Only 2000 hours in 19 years? Doesn’t feel right, but I guess many of my games aren’t from Steam.
Mandrake was my intro to linux back in 2003 as well. I ran it for a few months, but ended up going back to Windows for my main pc. I kept dabbling though, and decided to find a way to make it work two years ago. It’s not been totally smooth for me, but it’s well worth the effort.
Final Fantasy 6. Still my favorite game of all time.
25+ character passwords that change frequently, at least in my case.
Honestly Baldurs Gate 3 is what really makes it look bad. Playing Starfield after playing that highlights all of the shallowness in Starfield.
Every decent pen I've ever owned has just vanished. Glad I don't really need them anymore, so I can avoid buying the cheapest ones possible.
You probably want to try something more mainstream, an Ubuntu derivative perhaps. Kubuntu might be a good choice given your preference for KDE.
Yeah, not sure how it took this to get people to finally cancel.
Kind of. In the past investors were willing to be more patient, and company values were artificially high, because they were based on potential profits rather than actual profits. That’s shifting a bit as interest rates go up.
Exactly. They should take this as the warning it is, and start work on moving to an engine not run by morons.
I can get a decent windows or linux laptop for like $500. Each of the last two I got were in the $400 range, and they are still in use 3 and 5 years later. Plus I can easily upgrade the ram and ssd on those to further extend the lifespan.
Last 4 seasons you mean.
The issue isn’t the ending itself, it’s how they got there. They rushed the ending, and as a result it made no sense.
For me it was super boring until I left Constellation, fun for 10 or so hours after that, super boring for a few more, and now I haven’t played it in over 2 months.
