I think you underestimate how much storage those tiles take up compared to the vector map data.
The data updates are handled separately in app
Won’t it? I thought you just needed to enable the apps you want. My fdroid AntennaPod is certainly usable in it.
All the deck modding guides make me anxious messing about with the game filesystem. But I would like a decent inventory manager. How easy is it to restore the game and saves if you cock up?
I really enjoyed Ghost of Tsushima when it premiered on the PS5. As you say the satisfaction of pulling off the sword moves is really nice. The story isn’t bad either and some of the fight bosses certainly keep you on your toes. I brought the DLC expansion the day it came out just so I could spend some more time slashing away ;-)
Self hosting takes time and energy and most open source developers join projects because they are interested in the project not becoming admins. On top of that building a CI system is an expensive undertaking when a lot of hosting solutions provide a fair amount of compute for free to qualifying projects.
I tried all sorts of port forwarding tricks to get wireguard working on the VM that runs my HA instance to no avail. The trailscale solution works really well. The only real problem I had was magic DNS conflicts with DNS66 on my phone (which I use for ad blocking). In the end I just used a hardwired VPN IP for my HA connection.
Slowly the hold outs are realising open source drivers are here to stay. I don’t think propriety divers are ever going to go away but now you can have a fully open stack for all the main GPU stacks out there. I suspect more designs are insisting on open drivers and Nvidia doesn’t want to be ruled out at the start.
Oh I don’t mind it too much but I have a rich shell history 😀
Certainly when using the newer options things are more consistent easy to follow. However it’s reputation for complexity isn’t underserved because Qemu is very flexible in what it can do.
Libvirt/qemu with either virt-manager or cockpit to control them. Alternatively there are various wrapper projects for qemu that hide the complex command line from you.
Lawful neutral is one of the Ferengi from the Lower Decks episode Mugato Gumato where they were farming Mugato horns before being convinced by the away team that running a nature sanctuary would be more profitable.
Now I’m all for smashing atoms and the LHC did a grand job with the Higgs. However are we sure just smashing things harder is going to be as revelatory as other things we could spend the money on? What other grand physics instruments could we build? For example LISA will be a massive step change in our gravitational detection capabilities?
Wasteland 3 has a number of mutually incompatible outcomes that force you to decide how things will end up.
I’ve just started a Voyager run through with my kids. Dare I say S1 of Voyager is a much better introduction to “modern” Trek than the fairly uneven S1 TNG? I think Janeway is underrated as a Star Fleet captain.
I’m very lucky that I get to work in an upstream focused open source job. But I also maintain a few small packages personally and those only get attention when there are contributions to review or I have a personal itch to scratch. I’ll leave enhancement requests in the trackers and just mark them as such and occasionally have a go at them if I feel the urge. No one not paying should expect anymore from maintainers.
Google TV works because you can click through with the controller. But getting it plugged in is the first challenge 😃
The United Kingdom is the nation state, Great Britain is the combined land mass of Britain and the island of Ireland, England is one of the 4 home nations.
I don’t know why I have to come to a judgment over anyone for a random JRE appearance. It’s not like I treat the podcast as a good primary reference source on any topic. Musk has been quite capable of demonstrating his character flaws in a very public ways since his appearances on the show.
I’m watching Voyager with my kids. Janeway is pretty bad ass given her position as the sole federation representative in the delta sector. We are however using a watchlist and skipping the filler episodes rather than going for the completionist approach.
