Black’s Books, yes, been a while! If you like Black’s and Young Ones, check out Faulty Towers with John Cleese.

I bet Gannondorf is involved!
If you played and liked Wind Waker you’ll probably dig BotW and TotK.
Is that The Young Ones?
Such a pretty ring. She’s the bigger Tolkeon fan of us two, so it also meant a lot to her.
I gave my wife Nenya, a replica of Galadriel’s ring from Lord of the Rings made by WETA who are the folks that did the movie props. Silver and cubic zirconia ost $75. Mine was $14, wood and platinum. We’re 9 years in and going strong.
Thank you both for the encouragement. Just started wellbutrin for depression and amxiety. Big bonus if it treats what I suspect is undiagnosed ADHD, if not I’m starting therapy soon so we should be able to suss it out.
It’s a different genre but take a look at No Redt for the Wicked by the same studio that did Ori and the Blind Forest and Ori and the Will O the Wisps. It’s an isometric souls-like game, so very different but absolutely well done. It was their passion project after the Ori games.
Did not realize that! I can’t wait to play with my daughter!
Cheers!
V Rising. I mentioned this in another post on this thread. Vampire castle building survival sim ARPG that, like Dead Cells, has a Castlevania DLC.
V Rising - 49.2 Hours
Enshrouded - 123.3 Hours
Remnant II - 22.5 Hours
Stardew Valley - 252.2 Hours
Edit to add: 9 Monkeys of Shaolin - 7.0 Hours
Seconded.
probably the closest we’ll get to a new 2D Castlevania
Check out Gestalt Steam and Cinder and Aeterna Noctis. Both are great metroidvanias, especially with the size of Aeterna Noctis’ map.
As for 2d roguelikes Ravenswatch is pretty fun so far.
Yeah, maybe work up a skeleton instead of all the fancy aerial maneuvers?
Not with that attitude!
I’m all out of ducks to give.
Bulwark, The Falconeer Chronicles. You can’t get much more chill and low stakes than this steampunk airship city building game.
Open exploration, similar art style, and they mentioned not liking Skyward; I would say BotW is more akin to WW than SS. But yes, they are very different.
