It doesn’t have to be turn-based. FFXI and FFXII are also great. I feel the bigger issue is that making a story heavy game while everyone else is also making story heavy games makes it no longer unique.
I wouldn’t mind going back to ATB, but I don’t think that would win back an audience except for nostalgia points.

The goal here is to prevent someone from requesting a SIM replacement to unlock your other accounts. Since the attacker can use the IMEI and SIM info to contact customer service. If you have MFA on your mint account then they should ask for extra info before sending the replacement SIM, which would help with the current situation.
Setup TOTP NOW. Mint added proper TOTP authentication as MFA a while back that should block sms based MFA. Might be a good way to prevent sim swapping attacks.
Has anyone followed standards properly? There are weird workarounds in Linux’s TCP implementation because they had to do the same non-standard workarounds as BSD which was added since there are too many buggy TCP implementations out there that will break if the RFC is followed to the letter…

When I said small I was referring to portable (kinda forgot the word), as hunts can be completed in 15min or less. I think I would still prefer World though, probably because I did 300 Narwa hunts in one week before they fixed the “loot drop tables” bug.
MH series always does one big (console) one small (mobile) in that order. Last gen World was the big and Rise was the small.

The Mobile port for Final Fantasy Tactics is still superb. The UI is a bit outdated but the strategy game itself is not.
Some people play games to turn their brains off. Other people play them to solve a different type of problem than they do at work. I personally love optimizing, automating, and min-maxing numbers while doing the least amount of work possible. It’s relatively low-complexity (compared to the bs I put up with daily), low-stakes, and much easier to show someone else.
Also shout-out to CDDA and FFT for having some of the worst learning curves out there along with DF. Paradox games get an honorable mention for their wiki.

And that’s fine. Plenty of authors are great at writing the journey and terrible at writing endings. And from what we’ve gotten so far at least he now knows what not to do when writing an ending.

trojan-gfw is a better modern replacement. However that requires a certificate in order to work. You can easily get one via lets encrypt.
At this point, let Shadowsocks, obfs, and kcp die a graceful death like GoAgent before it did.
systemd tries to unify a Wild West situation where everyone, their crazy uncle, and their shotgun-dual-wielding Grandma has a different set of boot-time scripts. Instead of custom 200-line shell scripts now you have a standard simple syntax that takes 5 minutes to learn.
Downside is now certain complicated stuff that was 1 line need multiple files worth of workarounds to work. Additionally, any custom scripts need to be rewritten as a systemd service (assuming you don’t use the compat mode).
People are angry that it’s not the same as before and they need to rewrite any custom tweaks they have. It’s like learning to drive manual for years, wonder why the heck there is a need for auto, then realizing nobody is producing manual cars anymore.
