It’s nice to meet all you. I am she/her, can speak Toki Pona and English (non-natively), and locatable on Reddit as MozartWasARed. The links at https://discord.gg/sEuSSDz6TQ and https://www.deviantart.com/triagonal/art/My-copyright-policy-and-the-impact-it-extends-into-906668443 are pertinent to me.
My adoptive mother is Indian and made lots of Indian food. I’m not Indian, but it’s ingrained in me, enough that I see it and am interested.
When Spyro 3 was being made, aggressive piracy was a huge thing. So the developers decided to design the game so that crude copies of it would play a highly modified, unwinnable and intentionally buggy version of the game that didn’t reveal its existence as unwinnable until half-way through the game where the save fairy gives you the warning this meme conveniently displays. Guess what “game” my introduction to Spyro was?
That’s what I mean. I mean as opposed to the ground floor being a dirt floor.
Does a basement floor count?
Knowing how sensitive I am, I can’t imagine buying footwear I didn’t think was comfortable.
I skimmed through the channel and believe it’s this one based on the fact it had Japan in it and was recent, but I might be missing something. Titles and thumbnails change often as a form of clickbait and that gets confusing when going back to something.
Economics. I never understood it that well having taken two years of high school classes for law and government, then watched a single Economics Explained video and understood so much that I hadn’t understood before.
I will say right now with a passion, whoever invented spaghetti must’ve had a low bar to go by. It’s both a chore and a test of etiquette. Some people twirl it and eat it in forkfulls, others slurp it, others cut it, and typically each of these are considered rude by whoever doesn’t. And then there’s me, because dexterity, I don’t know. My happy place when eating spaghetti is twirling it and then vacuuming it from the fork like the people in the second category. And that is why I haven’t had spaghetti in years.
Taking walks. May last three hours at a time, though I never bothered to measure the distance physically. I also check on my neighbors sometimes along the way and/or stop at the library or church temporarily. Did you know walking is better for you than jogging/running?
I would ask why. Is the reason personal? Moral? Based on their achievements? I’ll put it this way. I was watching this story (not the first time it was brought up) which takes place in a town that really loved Mussolini. That much didn’t bother me, it’s circumstantial and it happens, it was how they expressed it that set me off, by setting out to lethally betray the one person in town who was a critic of Mussolini by killing his family. Technically I’d argue they’re indirect victims of the Nazi Italy death toll. If someone has no problem with me, I don’t feel as averse, but this is rarely the case anyways.
facepalm How did I only just see that?
Desktop, on the Lemm.ee instance, using the dark mode design or whatever it’s called.
In an ideal world, [email protected] would give that kind of experience, but nobody will engage.
Paying it forward.
I do swear but do it in too much moderation anyways for my parents to care.
I’m not sure. It’s difficult to fit all the people you know on a scale. The local social services workers are pretty terrible though. I’m glad the rest of my family doesn’t have to deal with them.
Anyone remember that one commercial with the two girls and the pony? Take that and multiply it by ten. That’s the local social services.
A giant squid. It would have to be on land though (you never said we had to do it in their natural habitat).
I do, my username on Reddit is u/MozartWasARed and always will be, even though I feel the same about Lemmy.
As you can see by my username, I was made for Lemmy.
What pieces of media influenced them the most.
Currently? Pictures.
