Nice. I didn’t even see those models when I was looking for an actual dumbphone. All the ones I saw were running KaiOS. My main requirement for a dumb phone was hotspot which is mostly a standard feature these days.

Very low-end Android phone I dumbed down for a “30 day dumbphone challenge” (wanted to be able to re-purpose it / un-dumb it afterward). Ended up liking it so much, I stuck with it as my daily driver.

For sure. I was like “That…looks like T’Pol” and then he introduced her. I was like “surely they wouldn’t bring back that character just to recast her” and was ecstatic when, yep, it was T’Pol.

I don’t care what she goes by, lol, I’m just shocked, amazed, and grateful they got her to reprise T’Pol (I just finished an ENT rewatch). She retired and hasn’t acted since 2017. She’s also Mrs. Ticketmaster so she definitely doesn’t need to work. Glad she’s a Trekkie otherwise it probably wouldn’t have happened.

Fair. It’s been a minute since I’ve seen that episode, but I do recall it was less Worf adopting him and more of a Klingon “big brother, little brother” program kind of thing. It just slightly irks me that he made such a commitment and it was never mentioned again.

I think I just used the ripper in MusicMatch Jukebox that came with my computer. It was only the “shareware” version, so I was limited to 96 kbps.

I still have many of those in my collection. When I throw on the actual CD or hear it in a higher/lossless format, they sound “wrong” because I’m still so used to the crappy 96kbps rips I had with me on my MP3 player for years.

On the plus side, those smaller files let me fit several more songs onto my 64 MB MP3 player from 2001 or so (it used a parallel port to transfer lol)

It’d be hilarious if the UT would translate applause to sarcastic slow claps lol. Maybe that’s how the Tellarites hear it through the UT?
