Windows 10 has been out a long time
Yeah, that’s how time works. Yes they’re pushing a move and 11 sucks but end of support is not like that any more than Ubuntu 12.04 is, and that’s been around even longer.

The bottom of the meme is explicitly calling it out. Those issues are valid, but there’s this shift in blame to the concept of support cycles in general.
The newer versions may be bad, but criticizing them for those bad features makes more sense than demonizing the concept of support cycles
Most issues stand, and fuck Windows generally, but honestly I don’t quite understand the issue with dropping support for older versions of Windows. Linux distros also do this, so much software does this, it’s just not practical or reasonable to manage all your versions of your software forever.
What can I say, he’s smarter than the a-ver-age медведь!
Yeah, effectively I’d want to use it as you could on Wii U, both displaying the second screen and interacting with the touchscreen. Splatoon in particular is extremely underrated with second screen use, being able to see and interact with the map in real-time is so much more useful than blocking your screen in future Splatoon games
Definitely, I think there was even a hacked splatfest at one point, which would be SO cool to do regularly. I just meant to say that, as far as I’ve seen, the gamepad can’t easily be used to play with if you were to emulate.
Side note, if anyone knows how I can play Splatoon on an emulator using my Wii U gamepad, I’m all ears lol
I have a friend like this, I’m a Nintendo collector and enjoying the hardware is my hobby. I know it’s an expensive endeavor, and I don’t expect anyone else to do it. I genuinely think any game should be up for piracy and emulation support, and it’s incredible what can be done to make games look, sound, and play better than the original. But when I’m sitting there having fun with Metroid Fusion on my GBA SP and you sit there going “why would you ever do that when emulating is cheaper and better” I don’t think you’re conversing in good faith.
I honestly think it’s unfair to judge someone for not putting significant time into learning another complex program. I’ve used Photoshop since it first existed, and it’s basically a lifetime of knowledge. A combination of things has brought me to exploring other open source solutions, but GIMP is definitely unintuitive in comparison. I’m only putting the time in because there’s literally no alternative that’s as powerful and ubiquitous an image editing solution, but I’d also be the first to jump on alternatives that would make the transition easier. It’s especially not fair to cast that judgement on professionals who don’t really have the time to invest in learning a new tool from scratch.
I thought usually fish ate Australians unknown to science
Oh no, I didn’t even know those existed
Oh they’re terrible
Thanks I hate it
u rite
tbh GoDaddy looks sussy too if you didn’t know better lol
I had a VW Tiguan that had both, but the digital one didn’t poll very often so it was incredibly unreliable. My Audi Q7 has both too, but the analog one is on a digital display, which is kind of weird to think about. Like a computer using an analog clock.
And as I’ve replied to many others, that’s a criticism of 11 itself and perfectly understandable. It’s not a reason to seethe at end of lifing. There’s features of software introduced that I don’t like in plenty of things including linux, but I’m not going to get mad that the version I like better doesn’t get supported forever
