Can CSAM distributors use it as a test suite for workarounds?

One of the new weekly special creations at my local ice cream shop. It changes every week, but I like trying the new flavors they create.
It’s not so much the instances but the communities that are important on Lemmy, unlike most of the fediverse. If your community’s instance is federated with the big instances, it helps get people to your community either way if the post shows as a link on the bigger instance or the host instance. Hopefully crawlers will eventually add some smarts so we link the host instances eventually too.
I think your best options are mlmym or alexandrite installed as a PWA from your browser. I think Liftoff also has a native app for Windows but I’ve only tried it on Android.
Teddit is an open source privacy focused read only front-end to public Reddit (like Nitter for Twitter) that ensures your browser never gives them a hit. Its styled like old.reddit and there an alternate called Libreddit that follows the new style. They directly hit Reddit instead of the API so they aren’t affected by the recent drama. You can also self host them if you want even more protection.
There are niche communities that haven’t migrated that I’m okay with using a crappy platform to stay in contact with. That being said I’ve been using teddit until I need to post.
Finland via Hetzner IIRC.
Nothing either :(
Also RIP Signal’s SMS feature, that was the gateway drug I was able to use to get people using it.
I prefer Signal, but have Whatsapp, FB Messenger, Slack, and Google Messages for everyone that doesn’t want to use it.

There is a lemmy seed script you can use as an admin that gets you a “default sub” experience https://github.com/Fmstrat/lcs
What software did you use to manage the backups? This seems like a really neat idea!
True, that’s why you have to appreciate that all that glitters is gold.
You can’t turn pictrs off as a configuration setting?
