EAC installation process includes “registration” of a game, and the uninstall process “unregisters” the game. If all games using EAC are uninstalled, EAC itself also should be uninstalled.
Yes he said he made an alt but I think his main is still active? Not sure.
He’s still on Reddit
I watched that video (half of it iirc) and I didn’t find it boring. I later learnt a kernel module was not needed for my purpose but I still managed to write a very basic one. He starts by saying “good artists copy great artists steal” and copy pastes the USB skeleton driver. Then he builds from there.
Me when I learn Clone Hero on Linux needs increased file limit to run without freezing:
Heroic is decent imo. It lets you download Wine, manage prefixes, enable/disable dxvk/vkd3d, configure gamescope & mangohud and so on.
whisky uses gpt
I install KDE Plasma on laptops I intend to use as a server. If the PC is easily reachable you can use the GUI to quickly manage files or use the terminal. Disable search indexing if you install GNOME or Plasma. I never used Debian but I assume the base system is as clean as it can be.
imo f34 and 36 have good wallpapers. 41 on the other hand…
He uses custom build Nobara
He had a video describing how he completely switched to Linux and he showcased Photoshop in the video. It was immensely satisfying for me.

Vector databases as the data foundation for generative AI applications
is what I see when I go to ubuntu.com on mobile. Seriously? Where is the ISO Canonical?! Why do I have to open the menu and choose Products -> Ubuntu OS -> Ubuntu Desktop to reach the ISO?
Let me elaborate. I have spent quite a lot of time providing voluntary tech support on Reddit and forums. In both of them you will see people having a blast & praising the community, and people pulling their hair due to frustrating issues right next to each other. Having the same OS or distro does not guarantee the same experience. People have different hardware, run different software and play different games. Also, choices regarding compat layers can make a difference, for example someone forces Proton Experimental on all games and it works out, while sb else uses Proton stable and it doesn’t work. Or the other way around. Oh, also don’t get me started on my Linux experience, it’s a roller coaster.
