I didn’t have any errors in the init.vim file because I didn’t have any. I added an example init.lua file with contents from here and configured the extension to pull this config file, yet it still says Nvim disconnected each time I restart it. I just gave up and resorted to VSVim
I’ve had issues with that one because I’m using VS Codium flatpak. I’ve exposed system binaries and the extension found the nvim binary, yet it kept erroring out with the message that Nvim was disconnected. VSVim is better in that regard for my case, because it is a stand-alone extension.
Woah, that’s pretty cool! i installed an extension for vim keybindings inside VS Code recently, as I find them very powerful. Unfortunately, I rely on VSC’s plugin ecosystem and thus can’t fully switch over to neovim, but I’ve liked it so far for everything else I do on my system, like writing bash scripts.
I am yet to meet someone who doesn’t use VSCode for web development.

The first one is Space Warlord Organ Trading Similator. It’s a simple game of trading, well, organs, but it has good soundtrack, nice visuals and different storylines that you reveal through doing quests and accepting/declining incoming transmissions. The game sessions could be really short, so the game is very fitting when you don’t know where to spend 10 minutes of your time.
The other one I’ve been playing is Fallout 2. Super good. It has its bad sides and certainly has a feel of an old game, but if you’re an RPG genre fan, definitely give it a try. Although, it requires some level of effort to play it, you can’t just load and start mindlessly doing radiant or other simple quests like in Fallout 4, which is a downer for me when I’m tired after work and want to zone out for an hour or two.
The writing is very mediocre. It’s a decent game with better graphics and more gun variety, but dialogues are so bad they annoy people to the point of losing any desire to play further.
You need to trigger the initial fetch of your community first. You can do so by searching for it from the desired instance’s search bar as !yourcommunity@youtinstance. After a few minutes the posts from this newly federated community should appear in the instance’s feed.

A decently big casino, as you could guess from the article, was getting away with Cloudflare’s Business Plan (250$/month, which even the author in the post agrees was a “fairly low price”, likely downplaying it).
The Cloudflare team reached out to them to let them know their usage does not fit into the tier anymore and they need to pay the custom price of an Enterprise plan, which may, or may not have been fair since the author does not provide any relevant data, because they were cut off from the stats since they had their account terminated.
The casino refused and indicated they are at talks with Fastly, which was a stupid thing to tell to the CF team, because on their end it was looking like “yeah, we’re going to keep freeloading until we move to another company”, so they decided to terminate the casino’s account.
The story taught the author not to rely on proprietary services. I hope it might also teach them not to rely on any service if they are getting away with a price that is way too cheap for the resources they consume.

Yup. I set it to
/run/host/usr/bin/nvimafter exposing system libraries and binaries to VS Codium through KDE’s flatpak permission manager. Prior to that it kept throwing me ENOF errors (or something like that, I don’t remember now).Unfortunately, that “disconnected” error is either not caused by a race condition for me or I was really unlucky, because at some point I restarted the extension 30 or some times out of frustration and nothing changed 😅
