I bought the original on Steam sale about a year ago. Played 2-3 hours. Didn’t really feel hooked by the story or the gameplay. Graphics looked great to me on the SteamDeck.

It always irritated me that the most prolific benchy design was a boat that isn’t useful for anything (besides being a benchmark itself) and doesn’t even float.

I think her content was awesome and it showed someone defying expectations of who can do product design, fabrication, electrical engineering, etc.

NGL I literally still use a PS/2 port for my decent yet extremely old membrane keyboard from circa 2007.

I meant to upgrade to a customized mechanical keeb a few years back, got a bunch of sample key caps and switches, got really overwhelmed by the choices, and never bought anything permanent.

In my dream scenario this choice pays off when some fed agency tries to install a hardware keylogger and can’t because I’m the last idiot still using a PS/2 keyboard in 2024.

If you want to support a US company, buy a Steamdeck and do retro emulation on there. The device components and whatnot are still going to be of mixed international origin.

Not entering, just wanna applaud you for doing this. I bought the TR I-III remaster in the summer sale and I will say I am pleased with it at the sale price. It plays pretty well on Steam Deck and scratches the nostalgia itch.
