How much of their funding came from the state? 100%? That’s 100% control.

That’s because for a gobsmacking number of people, judicial decisions are the absolute final word. My attitude wouldn’t be nearly so cynical if we were talking about an average person.
For this putrid waste of oxygen, though, judicial decisions are just another inconvenience for his lawyers to appeal, delay, or simply ignore. It doesn’t even matter if those lawyers are incompetent. Some magical circumstances always seem to protect him from consequences.
As far as I’m concerned, he has not actually suffered any consequences until he ACTUALLY pays up or goes to prison.
Because he’s my nephew. I care about him. He’s only in high school, he’s saving up for one, and I don’t want him to be disappointed/frustrated and waste his money on a crappy printer. If I can steer him away from bad printers and software, great!
I also don’t want him to be discouraged. He’s smart, talented, and basically I want him to kick ass everything he does (I know that’s unrealistic, but hey, that’s the uncle in me talking). Plus, being good at 3D printing will be a valuable skill.
This was an interesting read, but I’ve got stuff to do today, so I skipped the 90 minute video on their “outrageously ambitious mission”. Anyone care to summarize?
My nephew wants to buy a 3D printer, and I’d like to warn him. I’m worried that I’m too ignorant to do it effectively, though.
What is a slicer? What is Cura?
Thanks in advance, folks!
Fuck you, Palworld, here comes Donald Duck with a shotgun.
This made me groan, but also laugh. Smartass.
Good call on working from home. Insist on doing that until that goddam thing is out of your office. “Soon” is WAY too vague.
Thanks for the update!
Yay. Another fork.
Important context. Damn.
Why is Netflix still making specials with this guy? Are they contractually obligated or something? Had they already paid him anyway? WTF?
Nah, “i always tried to blow the smoke away from the customers anyway” would be funny regardless of who was saying it. But I’m upvoting you because I’m pretty sure you’re just messing with me.
This doesn’t strike me as mildly infuriating. It’s 100% funny! Extra points for the tats!
That does seem like the simplest, most reliable, most effective solution. We’ve seen things like meditation and medical treatments fail.
Whoever decided to name the website “set phasers to lol” deserves to be left on Ferenginar with a bad credit score.

He doesn’t need to normalize it. Anyone demented enough to still support him wants him to be a dictator. The only difference is whether they can admit that to themselves or not.
You’re too used to people making attacks. That’s not what I was trying to do. I was asking questions. I don’t know how much of RTs funding comes from the state, and I don’t even know if they run commercials.
I don’t know how RT is funded, and I’ve never watched it.
