Give it to a retirement home. Seriously. Us old farts still like playing those old games. I was not happy when my granddaughter used my Mario Cart disk for a teething ring.
For those who are confused by what we mean by “free training”, read this article:
Realistically, a project importing sea water inland would likely salt up the freshwater aquifer beneath the desert…creating more desert - elsewhere.
It’s all about presentation. I can prep crickets in a way that almost anyone will eat them. Feed them oatmeal for a few days, then slow roast, powder in a blender, combine with sesame oil, salt, and spices, stuff it into wonton wrappers and steam. If nobody knows what’s in them they disappear. But if I do fried crickets like the ones the Korean street vendors sell, very few non-Asians would touch them.
A lot of insects can be prepared using familiar presentations and the unsuspecting will devour them. I found ant cookies delicious - like a molasses cookie. And ground rolly-pollies (sowbug/pillbug/armadillium) could be used to make shrimp shumai and nobody would be the wiser.
Found it. I must have set it accidentally when I configured the account. Thank you for pointing out that it’s a manually set flag.
Definitely not a bot. Not sure how I would disprove it though. Maybe send me pictures of crosswalks?
This video makes me not want to buy anything from Nichia. Nakamura invented a commercially successful product they made billions from, and Nichia rewarded him with nothing.
If the fan blew across an airfoil aligned perpendicular to the axis of the boat, it can definitely generate thrust. The top of the airfoil will develop a lower pressure than the bottom, and the difference in pressure causes force that moves the boat. It’s just way more efficient to use a fan to push the boat.
Cheap low-capacity 9V batteries are still 6 AAAA cells. The flat cells allow higher capacity in the same space, so you find them in the batteries that advertise themselves as long-lasting.
Assuming the chance of either sex is equal, this problem can be broken down into multiple cases. The first is that there are two unseen kids in the house. What’s the probability they are both boys? 1/4. Now the door opens and you see two boys. The probability both are boys is 1/1. But if you only see one boy, the problem simplifies into the probability of a child being a boy. One of the probabilistic events postulated in the original problem is fixed at 1. So the answer is 1/2.
Think of it as the two coin flip, except one coin has two heads. That simplifies to a one coin flip.
I did this a few times. Ordered directly from the company instead of through Amazon. But then an expensive order didn’t show up. Amazon would have replaced it. But others companies’ policies are not so customer friendly. I was in the middle of contesting the charge 3 weeks later when a neighbor showed up at my front door with the package. Said he found it while clearing brush along our common road.
Now I only buy through Amazon. If the neighbor had not been honest, I could have been out $280. And yes, we do have a problem with overworked USPS drivers leaving packages at the bottom of the road.
You’d be charged because you made and distributed a weapon that is an unregistered explosive device - AKA a bomb.
Everyone gets hung up on guns for killing. I’ve shot tens of thousands of rounds and haven’t killed a thing because I shoot competitively. It’s like Zen Buddhists who shoot the bow and arrow, another weapon designed to kill. It is an exercise of mind and body.
You know that we’ve gestated various animals in weightless conditions on the ISS, yes? They look normal.
The solubility of air in water depends on temperature. When water that is saturated with air is heated, the air will bubble out of the water as the solution becomes supersaturated. We’ve all seen this watching a pot of water heating on the stove. Long before it boils, bubbles of air start forming on the bottom and sides of the pot.
In your shower, hot and cold water start out saturated, but when they mix, the warm water can be supersaturated, causing tiny bubbles that make the water look milky.
Just because it’s unconstitutional doesn’t stop the government from doing whatever it wants to its citizens if someone thinks they can justify/get away with it. Government entities have a long history of doing what they want regardless of what the Constitution says. Sherman’s March to the Sea, the interment of Japanese Americans, nuclear weapons testing in the Pacific Ocean, the Tuskegee Experiment, the MOVE bombing in Philadelphia, etc… The Constitution is just pieces of paper. Its power comes from those willing - and able - to enforce it.
Mine heat up. Not hot, but definitely warm at the base. LED bulbs convert 25-50% of the electrical energy to light. The rest is heat. So a 9W LED bulb is a 4-6 watt heater.
Perhaps the voltage regulator in your alternator is throwing a big voltage spike on the 12V supply, killing your adapters. There are large capacitors made for car audio that will stop spikes. Try one of those.
