Every product you love has been acquired by a large company that got bought by a larger company and then turned to shit. Until the government stops blocking mergers and acquisitions, this trend will continue.
Do you actually own the TV or one with that same stand? 3/3 people I know, plus OP had to do something extra to make that stand work. That’s bad design. Maybe not for the bottom line of the company, but definitely for the customer.
Functionally the stand is garbage too even if you do have a massive surface. It’s not at all adjustable and it can easily damage your table if it shifts at all.
But I guess, expecting a product to work out of the box without third party add-ons like a VESA stand or needing to cut grooves in a wooden block to keep it from toppling over is “entitled” now.
I have the same TV and built a custom stand for it. Doesn’t change the fact that the included stand is a bad design.

A lot of people will have to donate a lot to equal the amount they are getting from Google though, and if Google pulls that money I feel that Firefox would end before people donate enough to make up the shortfall.
Blizzard had pretty much only made amazing games before Activision bought them. Activision also made a lot of good games back then. People couldn’t see how the merger would fick it up back then, yet it still did.
I expect Bethesda to get infected with the worst that Activion-Blizzard has to offer more so than the opposite.
Blizzard would never have done that if Activision hadn’t been allowed to buy them. The new conglomerate will be worse than we anticipate in the same way Activion-Blizzard was.
There is no way that Gamepass is going to remain a good value once it's past trying to get new members in the introduction phase. I would give it at most 2 years before the enshitification really takes hold. It could be merely months since they are trying to look good to regulators right now.
They gave $50 million to Joe Rogan for his podcast. Imagine how good the player could have been if they had given that money to developers instead. It could have went to the musicians as well.
I’m still using an older version of Winamp. It supports pretty much every audio format ever, visualizations, and has an excellent media library format. There is a new Winamp, but I haven’t tried it.
I also use VLC, which supports fewer formats, but supports all the major ones out of the box and is open source and under active development.
Unity has had over a decade to establish itself as the main game engine. They have passed the growth phase and are now in the exploitation phase.
AWS and Azure are currently in the growth phase. They charge more for worse performance than self hosting and traditional third party hosting, but it’s close enough execs on the hype train are switching as fast as possible so as not to be left behind by their peers. Once they have destroyed traditional hosting options, they will absolutely move into the exploitation phase and pull this same move, and the ramifications will be much greater than just gaming.

Super Mario Wonder is the best 2D Mario since Super Mario World. There is so much attention to detail and the polish on every aspect from the gameplay to the way enemies act and react.
Super Mario RPG is the ultimate remake. It kept absolutely everything about the original while adding a few minor gameplay enhancements. Best of all, the graphics look like the original CG readers from the 90s but with perfect modern sharpness.
Deathbulge Battle of the Bands was an unexpected favourite. It’s a light-hearted turned based RPG with Earthbound and Undertale vibes, an amazing soundtrack and interesting and humorous characters.
