is that for real?

I will second Mellow, the Ender 3 series is a great entry level printer for tinkerers and hobbits but it requires lots of upgrades and maintenance to turn into a quality fast printer if your goal is to work with the printed items and not the printer.
I like to tinker so that was fine with me, and when I got around to buying a big boy printer I got a Voron 350mm v2.4r2 because its a printer you build yourself. Going from an entry level printer to a $1200 printer is night and day. The features, functionality, quality, and for me most importantly the speed have been game changers.
Since you want to print Cosplay im going to assume you dont want to tinker constantly with the printer, and you dont want to be dealing with failed prints all the time.
If that is the case I would say spend what your time is really worth to you and for your hobby and get a higher end high quality printer. Enjoy the parts you print, not fighting with the printer.
Damn it I missed it again this year. I’ll get to it next year.
Second this, whatever you pick never let someone else “own” your data because then they own your company. If you cant export data freely so it can be imported into another system, then its not yours.
Y’all are the worst.
almost unwatchable due to the use of the word “bro” non top. Otherwise it was fine.
I enjoyed the read, and it leaves some interesting questions for further research as well as asks some interesting questions about the future. Ideally ActivityPub will grow to a point where big tech cant own it but we will see. For now I will enjoy my slice of the free good old web, with the rest of my fellow neckbeards and greybeards.
If you admin your own instance then you can control any IP Fingerprinting related to your use.
But they are not held to the same labor standards, environmental standards, intellectual property laws, or fair financial support.
So of course they’re cheaper and of course they have parody because they’re using forced labor stolen intellectual property and being funded by an authoritarian regime.
If China’s willing to play on the big stage and a somewhat fair way then maybe I would consider buying a vehicle from them.
Why when I can buy reliable and well-made cars from the North America and Japan?
Yeah… saw that and instantly was like shit they got me.
You can expect more layer adhesion challenges because the PLA will cool rapidly before the next layer is put down. Smaller parts tend to do better at these resolutions.
Narrow the scope: I can only improve or change things that are MY responsibility. I do not need to take on anyone elses, if their project/job/life/relationship fails that is on them.
Things that are not in my control, I do not try to. I cant make other people happy, I can make myself happy.
My first 3d printer was a xmas gift from my partner and its been a blast to tinker with, I have found it useful for printing parts, toys, parts, all sorts of stuff. I purchased a much larger one so I can do larger and faster prints, and while I think the build has been worth it, I would NOT recommend buying the FYSETC kit I did.
A good therapist using evidence based techniques.
solution sales, be it in IT, AV, Security, office equipment… Generally you work with different clients, in different parts of an industry or multiple industries. All have similar needs but various differences in applications that requires jumping into their work understanding why they need some things in special ways, and then jumping back out to move on to the next project.
Its lets you leverage your hyper-focus and quick study skills, but wont require you to master an particular thing. Its also often not a direct sales job, but a 1/2 tech 1/2 sales job where you support a traditional sales organization but are expected to be a technical jack of all things within your company/role/industry/product line.
consumer crap is just that crap.
I like small PC’s as PFsense/Opnsense routers and then a POE switch and access points. It always works better than any mesh or consumer stuff.
Stellaris is great sci-fi future ambient music to focus to.
i never use Ubuntu so… Glad to hear it.
