My first new Trek was TNG, which I enjoyed, along with DS9. Then, I just lost interest and didn’t stick with anything until the Kelvin movies. That got me back in, though Discovery nearly killed it, then Strange New Worlds and Lower Decks reeled me back in.

The Kelvin movies are not the Trekkiest Trek media but they aren’t horrible movies.

Of course, nothing has yet to dethrone GalaxyQuest as the best Star Trek movie of all time.

That sounds like a fun project.

Don’t forget to label them as “Bible cartoons and movies.”

I went through the same thing as you but when we moved to Emby, things have been better. Plex was always crashing when I’d search.

If you can get back with them, give Emby another shot.

I think self-hosted might be better but I don’t have the ambition right now. I’m reading up on it but I need to finish a couple of other projects first.

That is definitely one of my big complaints. Maybe I missed it, but I don’t like the speed. It’s either full speed or pause. I always feel rushed.

I started reading the comments and it was way worse than I thought.

The most upvoted comments all display a great deal of “I only read 2 words of your original post” energy.

I didn’t bother with an adblocker until recently myself because I was okay with a couple of ads or mentioning sponsors.

Then, one day, the ads just multiplied on every video. It was that sudden for me. After a couple of days, I downloaded apps for my phone and TV and it’s been wonderful.

I’ll watch YT in all its horribleness on my consoles if I’m looking for something game-related and I don’t want to get up and grab my phone.,

I try to avoid reviews for games that haven’t been released or aren’t in an open beta. I am especially suspicious in regards to embargoes that lift less than 24 hours before the game goes on sale.

Publishing peoples’ private info is bad and nobody should be encouraging others to find that info.

On the other hand, info about the games should be published. If a games journalist is willing to tow to company PR lines and withhold valuable info (to players) about games, then they should be willing to cover this. If they aren’t, then they’re just a fan with special access.

Empress is considered the best Denuvo cracker in the world. Mostly because she’s the only one that is consistently successful.

There are two major trains of thought regarding her. The first: she’s a batshit crazy narcissist who is more toxic than a Kardashian-Jenner family dinner where Kanye and Pete Davidson show up unannounced. The second: she’s the goddess and the most wonderful woman on the planet and one day she’ll recognize my loyalty and I will have a place in her New World Order.

This is probably my favorite of the series. The original got me hooked on the genre but this one…the number of hours I put in, I could probably have a Doctorate in Urban Planning and Disaster Management.
