I’m too stupid to walk backwards through the 4th one, so I guess I only experience 3.5 dimensions.
That is the world we currently live in.
Quite some work left to do to achieve a sociaty with universal basic income, if even the technologies developed for the purpose are twisted and used against it.
I guess that depends on whether you only travel through time (time vs space), or whether you follow the time-line back (aka. travel through time and space, kinda like both you and I are doing right now).
EDIT: there’s also the reference point, and whether you can bring a physical vessel, or have to possess your younger self.
Back to the Future appears to be using a kind of relative spatial reference point, and you bring your body along the ride.
Contrary, Steins Gate (the part shown in the series) uses a body as reference, and has you “possess” said body. Though it hints that Back to the Future-like travel is also possible.
Not sure if I can name any story where time and space are disconnected.
Right, used Google translate and still got it wrong.
The picture is from the day after, the dike did overflow(/flood?) and is now keeping the water in, hence the water on the wrong side.
EDIT: According to Merriam-webster, “dyke” is the British spelling of “dike”, though it can also be a slur in the right context.
I’ve begun applying 2-4 drops of oil to the tips of my hair after bath. The idea is, that your scalp will oil up and protect the rest of the hair, but usually doesn’t manage to apply the protective layer to your hair ends before next bath.
Like hearing multiple octals at the same time, when you’ve only ever heard one?
Like feeling cold and hot, when you’ve only ever felt uncomfort?
Like tasting sour and sweet, when you’ve only ever tasted bitter?
Like going to the country and smelling nature, when you’ve only ever smelt the smog of the city?
EDIT: no wait, that’s for someone who is partially blind, don’t think it works for someone who has never perceived sight.
That’s awesome, I’m happy your date liked it!
Print times can be a little off putting, but rushing can lead to a lot of lost time in this hobby. 10-12 hours seem rather realistic for that size, but I imagine it’s a hurdle when coming from FDM printing. :)
Excuse me, but could you rephrase the question to fit a single sentence?
True, the sticking can be quite the hassle. I personally (carefully) sanded down the metal print plate, as to make it more rough and therefore more sticky, and then bought some new film from fepshop.com which should be less sticky than the original on my Elegoo Mars Pro 1.
That worked really well, minimizing layer shifts quite a bit and allowing me to use less supports without the print going haywire.
Yea, just got to that part. It also seems that they plan on keeping the previous subscriptions running while additionally leeching off successfully games.
At least the free games don’t have to pay the penalty.
That does sound like someone at Unity had a fatal brain hemorrhage.
Haven’t read the article yet, but I wonder if this counts for existing games (read: existing games which update to the new Unity version) too?
Your cleaning procedure should be fine, I do the same but by hand.
I meant shaking the resin while it’s still in the bottle, before you pour it out into the reservoir of the resin printer. The resin can separate into it’s base components, giving bad prints, and might sometimes need a LOT of shaking to properly mix.
One should also clean the bed/reservoir and “reshake” the resin at least every 24 hours if possible.
First off, remove supports while washing, and before curing.
Regarding the cloudiness, you did properly shake the resin before usage, right? And yes, letting it dry entirely is rather important, so don’t skip on that part! ;)
Regarding the layer shifts: your print settings are most likely sub optimal for your setup, you’ll need to readjust them, this can be very tedious, but if you are using a popular brand of resin in a popular brand of printer, then you should be able to find settings which worked for others.
Regarding the layers: correct, it’s support failure! That, and perhaps a mix of bad settings for the chosen resin. Make sure that you have at least 1 heavy support for each large freehanging extremity, and finish it off with a LOT of smaller supports in the area. Especially if it’s a larger flat area!
I feel ya, a few of my personal favorites when it comes to escaping all the politics are:
And then of course all of the ImaginaryX communities, which I’m sure there exists a register of somewhere, but I just sub as I stumble across them.
I work with embedded devices, and to some degree also servers. Graphical user interfaces are usually ignored as they just take up space and resources, and you can’t even do half of what you can in the terminal (assuming you know your way around a terminal, but being a server admin, you really should).
Web interfaces are usually used for status pages, or if anyone who isn’t you or a fellow admin needs to to anything as, you guessed it, they are very restrictive, so the other party hopefully can’t do much damage.
Well, yea, I can see that, but I imagine the bunch of horizontal lines is how your device tells you that it encountered an “unsupported icon”.
I see a box with a cross in the middle, as in the icon for “unsupported icon” . I imagine it’s the same for you.
I’m on android.
Not even Windows can run all Windows games, so that’s kind of a hard criteria for Linux to achieve.
