Did you mean to reply to my comment? In a vr user myself and id agree with you, i was just pointing out, that for me, the most immersion happens when driving cars.
Do yourself the favor and play a racing sim with vr and a wheel. Its crazy how immerser you get, that does not work as well on flat screens.
Gothic 1 and 2. Weird control scheme you have to get used to, but very good games world building snd character wise. Can be quite challenging with the combat, but quest allow tons of ways to solve problems.
Sometimes youll need stuff like this. Rail maintenance cant always be done using overhead lines, since the machines will get destroyed by electric breakdown(?).
Some parts are not electrified yet, some cant be without major work being done to the track.
It is not ideal, but sometimes you cant do it otherwise, or you’d have to cut of some parts, imo its a useful way to bridge gaps.
