We truly have some sophisticated conversations over here. Love you lemmings
As we grow up our mac and cheese gets fancier 🥰
If you live somewhere you can grow tomatoes, do it. There’s nothing like a fresh off the vine tomato you grew yourself.
Also they taste way better than grocery tomatoes (assuming you’re in the US)
It would be silly to not.
Here’s a tomato for you 🍅
Hence the maybe. :)
Thanks!
Charge your phone tho friend
Shoutout to lead paint and asbestos maybe?
Multigenerational living, on a farm. Most everything we eat or use comes from our property, our neighbors, or my husbands family’s property.
I’m very well cognizant this is not an option for a lot of people, and I know how lucky I am to not have to spend money on bills most people have… it’s a big reason why I try to pay it forward in many ways, as often as I can.
That said, I grew up in abject poverty… so I’m playing catch up, even now.
Such is reality.
I agree with the other commenter… you should leave and not come back. Tell the others.
I’m an elder emo… I still wear my studded belts. D:
Hell no. I’d like to preserve my peace.
But maybe Lisa has a nice butthole she wanted to share.
On a more serious note, I too dislike porn randomly popping up when I don’t expect it.
Bro looks like he got long covid
Potential hot take-- am in my 30s so I dont know if I qualify in your younger generation denotation or not.
I was raised with the thought process of ‘act as if you are always on camera’ to get me to act right. As I aged, it was amended to ‘act as if you are always on camera… because you are.’
Both statements were and remain to be correct. That said, I think there is something to be said about the expectation (or lack thereof) of privacy that the younger generations were raised either in or to know.
I don’t think that privacy has lost value through its own or the younger generation’s volitions. I think it lost value through… everybody always being watched in one way or another.

This is what I am hoping for.
I remember making MSN groups or whatever they were called back in the day for a favorite band or tv show or whatever-- I hope for Lemmy to mirror the forums and groups of yore… but if it doesn’t? Well… I’ve been on Mastodon for the better part of a year at this point and I still am able to have decent conversations with fellow humans. It may not stay perfect, but I am hopeful for the fediverse, to be honest.
Oh hell nah
