Just to be clear, there is absolutely no way in hell that she didn’t know she was on the way to killing her liver with her drinking because there are a plethora of signs long before you get to the point where alcohol has destroyed your liver beyond its own ability to repair itself. (Which is incredibly prodigious. The liver is the single most regenerative organ in the human body)

So forgive me if I’m skeptical that she really would have stopped being an alcoholic after she received a liver transplant.

IMO this was a tragedy of her own making and the money and effort in transplanting a liver would have been a complete waste. (Even one offered by her SO.) Especially when there is such a deficit of available organs and the surgeons who do the transplanting are needed for patients who aren’t likely to go back on the sauce 6 months later.

Yes cause 5 to 12-year-olds are the only people who play Minecraft. Nobody over the age of 12 plays Minecraft at all and there aren’t millions of Minecraft players out there that are anywhere from 12 to 70 years old.

Yeah the explanations in that page are even worse than any of the ones that I get from actual physicists. Several of the explanations say “FTL is not possible because physics” others simply use equations in place of an explanation.

Every time I read about or listen to someone’s explanation of why faster than light travel is completely impossible it always makes no sense to me.

I have tried to understand it more times than I can count but every explanation seems to revolve around faster than light travel breaking causality because of information traveling back in time due to relativity. Granted it’s always physicists who are explaining why faster than light is impossible and I’m a complete layman so there may be a translation issue there.

It wasn’t a ship full of people heading to a distant star, that was a bunch of dead people who were frozen at the moment for their death in hopes that sometime in the future a cure for their ailment would be found and then they were set adrift in space.

Most of the music on ytmnd was grabbed from just about everywhere. You wouldn’t find most of those songs on the radio, at least not in the time that they were being used on YTMND. Tiktok songs however, just look at the billboard top 100 and you’ve got your tiktok playlist.

I miss the hey day of YTMND. When memes flowed like water and the soundtrack of my life increased daily.

That’s got to be something you’re doing. Cause I’ve had exactly zero problems. In fact I don’t think I’ve actually met a person who’s ever had a problem with USB - C. But I have boxes (plural) of dead micro USB cables and, on top of that, I have so many devices that have been rendered useless by the fact that the micro USB port has been blown or damaged in some way it’s not even funny.
