Considering the original study only documented Wolves in captivity I explain it like this: Alpha, Beta, Sigma, whatever, is just the type of prison bitch you'd be, so congrats.

Limiting how many positive yearly reviews managers are allowed to give out. Not M$ but glad it’s finally in the news. The employees find out how the system works fast, no matter how secret they tried to keep it.
If they keep up the conceited attitude of taking this for granted I wouldn’t be surprised to see SF local elections going to whichever candidate promises to be tougher on robo taxi betas roaming a city of 3.3 million, then where will your red cerpet be? The residents already hate you.
Same, reddit is now pc only for me and only when im going for content or conversation that’s just not on lemmy yet. Lemmy has let me fully disconnect from reddit news and politics which is a massive blessing in itself, and also kept my mobile browsing habbits satisfied.
Why wouldn’t he, no one’s stopped M$ monopoly building lately. Good luck getting Nintendo though, it’s Japans Disney in regard to both local culture and high powered lawyering and suit happy executives that will jump on the chance to loose their lawyers to earn their retainer fees.
Its true theres no modders that the Nintendo ninjas are stalking currently so that whole division is bored AF.
Division, ironically
Im just happy a rich man is facing consequences for his actions, even if he made them up.
Call me whatever you want but Im happy the people who make these bad decisions from their insulated lots in life have to face at least some kind of consequences now, because the law is explicitly set up so that they typically never have to. Sucks that it comes to this but its behavior analysis 101, if you dont introduce consequences for undesirable behaviors, you’d be an idiot to expect change.
I don’t love that it’s probably caught up a lot of people who have nothing or little to do with it though, but the guys at the top need consequences or nothing will change, and beggars cant be choosers.
Speaking of sat comms, imagine a cell device with a whole suite of radio tools for amateur operators and professional ones. Im waiting for the FTC to open up some fun bands for us to play with as they depopulate while consumers etc switch to the newer ones.
Thats 50% of modern journalism. The other 50% is copying police press releases verbatim without investigation.
So then the answer isn’t “its a google monopoly” its ‘google choose to work with the nonprofit and we didn’t’. Im sure the 1200 company strong industry nonprofit would have loved to have apple at the table for a collaborative development on an open standard. They’ve done it before with usb c, they chose not to. If anything google would be asserting monopoly over other people who choose to provide RCS services, not anyone that chooses not to. I get it though, if I was Apple I’d be terrified of having to compete with googles net infrastructure, they would lose unless they got amazon on their team.
What’s to stop apple from using their own servers in accordance with the published specs from the GSMA, the industry nonprofit that started and steers the project by committee? Im not putting it past google to be a monopoly either, but I can’t find any info that suggests apple is being shut out of doing it themselves. ATT has their own implementation away from googles RCS servers, or at least used to.
Transfering video via cord is actually apples suggested way of sending full res videos to android phones because Apple is too lazy and monopolous to adopt RCS.
“No way to prevent this” says only forum where this regularly happens.
No indication that any of the returning matter ever made it beyond the event horizon but how wild would it be if matter can come back from that somehow, would shatter current understand of the phenom.
You wouldn’t let chatGPT drive a car would you?
They essentially showed the market their firm cap for revenue, and the market was like ‘uhh thats it?’
And yet you still omit the very same words you omitted from the beginning. I get it though, you have no arguement if you acknowledge it was in the very same sentence qualifying my statement you wanna be mad at, keep digging friend. How many times are you gonna ignore it? Also how are you gonna use quotes if you don’t copy the actual sentence and just put your own period in it before my real sentence ended? You as good at citing things as you are at logic.
Personally as someone who snuck through too I don’t think I’d ever get a dx. I’ve had deep moments of closure and certainty and they did not come from medical settings. However these moments require you to be looking for the right things, having the knowledge to know what you’re looking for and the perception to judge yourself and your past through a neutral, almost clinical, lens. My not-professional advice to some in your position would be just do a lot of research(you’ll probably be doing this anyway), let it sit, and if after a while you don’t feel like you have any more certainty, ask yourself again if you want to get a diagnosis. Just as a caveat I wanna write that this advice is not for anyone who is eligible to receive benefits that would improve their quality of life if they got a diagnosis. The field I work in is related enough that I feel compelled to say that.
