this is the biggest disappointment to me. the game wasn’t good enough to justify all the crazy star wars mods that could have been. even lightsabers and speeders won’t make this into a good game unfortunately

FYI, to figure this out you would look at the part that plugs into the wall. there’s a bunch of writing on it. at one point it will say something like " input: 120-240 VAC, output: 15 VDC 0.5 A". that’s true for pretty much all transformer bricks. like if you want to see how much a USB brick will supply it will say on there “5V 2A” or whatever.
F360 parameter entry was so lacking. And what a strange feature to not fill out since as you say it’s basically just a spreadsheet. Hell, let us import actual spreadsheets so I can have a baseline each time for parameters I’m always inputting such as 3d printer specs (line width etc)
what is NEETs? looked it up, but what I found didn’t seem to fit the context of the sentence
meh, yes and no. typical auto desk shenanigans. free for personal use.
yeah, freeCAD is kinda crappy compared to even F360
notion is good, but felt so slow. tried it out for a few months, and then did a hybrid approach with obsidian and wound up favoring and then eventually just porting everything over and fully switching to obsidian. been good.
what? I have never heard this about them. is that possibly if you use their sync service?
I also miss the old version. that marble lift was so cool. seems a shame to have scrapped it instead of making some music, whatever it wound up being. on the other hand, I assume when this version gets further along it’ll start coming to together like the last.
Yes, but not as seamless. You basically add the epic store as a ‘game’
I feel like a game like this would really benefit from the discounted 2-3 yr early access model. They get to squash bugs and get data and those who can stomach the performance issues will enjoy playing what they can. BG3, minecraft, KSP1, The Forest. All had it with our really well for them.
I mean, this is just KSP2 all over again. Successful first game with diehard fans and then just try to drop some unoptimized garbage down when people have been modding and optimizing the first one for a decade.
Witcher 3 was great with this
Just started on SoD today. Pretty wild how free form it is. Fantastic.
Yeah, but that was just the voice. This (and Keanu silverhand) are trying to be the actors straight up playing characters in the game.
I’ll throw down the factorio card for this week. Trying it out on the steam deck. Plays pretty good so far. Bit clunky in the controls, but I’ll keep messing around with them. Plus it’s great for the pick up and play, although I’ll prob need to leave notes or something when things get more complex so I don’t lose the thread
I feel like star destroyers should not be able to be significantly inside a gravity well. That is all
So you’re saying there’s still time, cool I’ll get around to that Later. …
Yeah, but instead it’s a laughable description of what shops are in town. No flavor. No directions. Just x y and z are here. Just silly BS
First few seasons good. kinda has an issue with not knowing where it’s going from the beginning so I felt like the later seasons were just ‘making shit up’ as opposed to the story coming together. still worthwhile tho
