The same goes for pretty much everything in life, not just games. It might suck in the short term, but just don’t put up with friends/partners/jobs you don’t like. Make a change

What I meant was that if you are returning 404 for example when a user doesn’t exist. You can’t tell if the user doesn’t exist or someone changed the API to remove the endpoint.
But forcing HTTP codes without a moment to think it through seems to be the new fad.
The clown, but flipped with a success
field. If it is true then command succeeded, if it false something was wrong and there should be an error
field as well.
HTTP codes should be used for the actual transport, not shoe-horned to fit the data. I know not everyone will agree with this, but we don’t have to.
Rounded corners tho… <shudder>
Just a small gif (as png didn’t exist/widely supported) that had the rounded corner. Then if someone wanted to change the color or background you would have to redo all the images. Fun fun.
…and it drives me insane when it is not real links but some javascript/button/div-with-onclick/etc and middle click won’t work
I liked the last season for the most part, but the episodes were very hit or miss. And I feel like this one was another miss. Hopefully the other episodes will be better.
Accidents have minor consequences compared to GTA IV.
I agree with you I much prefered the driving in 4 over any other that I can remember. However, one really weird thing was that sometimes you could hit a curb at relatively low speed and you would fly through the windshield. Other times you were totally indestructable.
I like some sports, but can’t stand game streamers. Athletes train for years to become the best in their sport/position/etc, streamers are usually mediocre at the games at best. I rather just play the game myself. Much more of a personality cult around streamers, and I have no interest in.
But well, people are different. If some people enjoy it, go ahead just explaining from another point of view why I don’t like it
They added the instigator penalty to cut down fights as well. The player deemed responsible for startibg the fight gets an extra penalty, and that does indeed give the other team an advantage.
Or maybe it is a feeble attempt to annoy people that sign up with foo+service@somewhere.com
and then sort it into different inboxes (of course you can filter on other things but + is built into gmail). You can also use it to see who sold your info when you get spam on that adress.
Factorio.
What do you mean, there are other games? No time for those. The factory must grow!
Well, we have detected those that have been detected. It is possible that there are some sleeper repos no one has detected yet.
But it is not really a problem or something bad with FOSS, just have to be careful when including and updating libraries, which you always have to be!
There is a follow up post as well, at the very end they write a bit more about it. And much more than 5 keys.
Yes, look at this blog post from Factorio team, it is a few years old by now but still valid

They start talking about G2A about half way through the post. Basically they much rather see you pirate the game than buy it through G2A
You can sell high karma accounts to spammers.
But then it is the developers fault, never management
