I dunno why everyone is defending the game. You don’t even need to. This award was determined by community votes.the community wanted this.
Now that is a deep reference. Youre not wrong though!
That was the channel they had when they did WWI. So, same concept and core team, but different channel.
Just on your first bit. Lemmy initially came from good ole lemmings, so I’ve always just assumed the name for users here was lemmings…
Nah, I say he could’ve kept the swearing if he changed the intent. Maybe it’s my Australian slipping out, but they’re just words. They can’t hurt you. The intention sure as hell can, and I’ve seen way more vicious things written without swearing.
And agreed, it’s just an arsehole-ish rant in general, regardless of whether he swore or not.
So then what makes the swearing special? It’s the intent that makes them hit, not the words themselves.
It is their colours, which is super unhelpful.
Bottleo worker told me it was the second highest in the world. Except for wine. It’s a bit insane these days, a day festival runs me way too much money to get buzzed, not even drunk. I remember going to BDO back in the day with $70 and being blind by the end of the day.
It’s bws, that’s the labels they use for specials.
Mkay. So. No, there should be blanket additional testing for these conditions, even if you have already passed the test. Because if you have it for some conditions and not others, it’s not fair for all. Like, if we don’t have testing for autists, it is entirely fair for epileptics to say they don’t need to be tested either. Yeah, it sucks. But it’s necessary to keep us safe as driving is one of the most dangerous things we do. It’s one of the leading causes of death that aren’t “natural”. The article linked even gives examples of how autistic people can sometimes not drive “right”. And I say that as someone living in Australia who is neurodivergant myself and has had to report my conditions to my state driving regulator.
I dunno how to prove it cos proving negatives is way too hard, but I just played a track offline no worries. You contacted support?
Wait, what? Got a screenshot? Cos, let’s face it, the switch has terrible wifi, and I’m frequently not on network and can play offline fine and have never had any pop up like that.
The yellow version, yes. But the bitter they make is full strength and quite tasty. Then again, I like VB, so what the fuck do I know…
I mean, they’ve got stuff that is incredibly jarring when I’m a bit wound up. But the higher intensity stuff is so good when I’m stressed. I sorta slip into the stream and shit just seems to “flow” better. Even if I’m trying to meditate a bit to bring down my anxiety. It sounds wild, but yeah, shit works.
In short, yes. Hot Chip has some pretty high tempo stuff that I’d still call smooth. As for harsh noises, NIN soothes the fuck out of me when I’m all wound up.
It’s not a magic bullet though, some stuff can irritate the fuck out of me at times when usually I love it. shrugs mental illness is complex at times!
I get that. And I have dabbled with making music. But I would never call myself a musician, producer, whatever. It's kinda corny given the source but, Fred Durst said it best for me when he said "music is key/it's the way we're set free/from all this world is throwing at me". I'm 38. Music has been central to my identity for 30yrs now.
Yeah, it's a proper thing. Supported by science and all that jazz. I love it. I've got tattoos to show my love for music (people always see em and ask "what instrument do you play?" They are always hella confused when I reply with "none"), it was nice finding out years after as to just why music is so important for me. It literally regulates my brain if I pick the right stuff.
It is, by a significant amount. The switch has the most at over 4k, a bit more than the PS2 (which also had over 4k releases). The PS2 stat is pretty impressive though, cos they were all physical releases.
