Mkay. So. No, there should be blanket additional testing for these conditions, even if you have already passed the test. Because if you have it for some conditions and not others, it’s not fair for all. I mean, they’ve got stuff that is incredibly jarring when I’m a bit wound up. But the higher intensity stuff is so good when I’m stressed. In short, yes. Hot Chip has some pretty high tempo stuff that I’d still call smooth. As for harsh noises, NIN soothes the fuck out of me when I’m all wound up.

I get that. And I have dabbled with making music. But I would never call myself a musician, producer, whatever. Music has been central to my identity for 30yrs now.

Yeah, it's a proper thing. Supported by science and all that jazz. I love it. I've got tattoos to show my love for music (people always see em and ask "what instrument do you play?" They are always hella confused when I reply with "none"), it was nice finding out years after as to just why music is so important for me. It literally regulates my brain if I pick the right stuff.
