  • Nah, I say he could’ve kept the swearing if he changed the intent. Maybe it’s my Australian slipping out, but they’re just words. They can’t hurt you. The intention sure as hell can, and I’ve seen way more vicious things written without swearing.

And agreed, it’s just an arsehole-ish rant in general, regardless of whether he swore or not.

  • Bottleo worker told me it was the second highest in the world. Except for wine. It’s a bit insane these days, a day festival runs me way too much money to get buzzed, not even drunk. I remember going to BDO back in the day with $70 and being blind by the end of the day.

  • Mkay. So. No, there should be blanket additional testing for these conditions, even if you have already passed the test. Because if you have it for some conditions and not others, it’s not fair for all. Like, if we don’t have testing for autists, it is entirely fair for epileptics to say they don’t need to be tested either. Yeah, it sucks. But it’s necessary to keep us safe as driving is one of the most dangerous things we do. It’s one of the leading causes of death that aren’t “natural”. The article linked even gives examples of how autistic people can sometimes not drive “right”. And I say that as someone living in Australia who is neurodivergant myself and has had to report my conditions to my state driving regulator.

  • Yeah, it's a proper thing. Supported by science and all that jazz. I love it. I've got tattoos to show my love for music (people always see em and ask "what instrument do you play?" They are always hella confused when I reply with "none"), it was nice finding out years after as to just why music is so important for me. It literally regulates my brain if I pick the right stuff.
