'computers were invented in America' is rather a stretch.
Which is why no one said that. I read most of the article and I'm still not sure what you were annoyed about. I didn't see anything US-centric, or even anglocentric really.

Where were computers invented in your mind? You could define computer multiple ways but some of the early things we called computers were indeed invented in the US, at MIT in at least one case.
They're simply trying to express what an extremely weird and disgusting person they are
That was my reaction too. People do but I'm not sure I understand. One thing, you could be much more easily on the hook for any copyright issue even if accidental. Also you're paying for a new service. I'd rather just occasionally do some local maintenance and pay the $2 a month extra to keep my machine running which I'd likely do anyhow.
I tried jellyfin before I decided to buy the Plex lifetime pass and it just flat out would not boot. The docker container kept failing and I tried various things to troubleshoot. Made me sad but I felt like it was time to finally commit to Plex after using it for like 8 years…
Yeah and it was banned for being heavily used by awful criminals. Probably not a big deal to switch hosts even if you didn't self host for some reason
Yeah too bad that I was on a host heavily associated with CSAM /s
I don't see how it's contradictory in any way
Liking FOSS and the ethos behind it doesn't at all mean you are required to be a zealot who only accepts that. Further, your claim that gaming on Linux without proton is easy is just flat out wrong.
Are you really curious or do you just want to hate on steam for paragraphs? Because I love FOSS too but I find your tone and post in general to be annoying and obtuse.
Another version of "online dating is awful!"
Haven't heard this one before. The world is better with online dating than it was without it
Yep sure is!
There are more typos than correctly typed words here.

As someone who struggles with decision paralysis all the time, you obviously get that but much worse.
And yes you are 100% making this harder than it is.
“This is how you get bad design”
Ok and your way is how we get complete inaction
People love to hate on this game but I bought it months ago and played it several hours. I didn’t see any bug I found noteworthy
There’s not really much here that isn’t pretty easily solved. Alphabetical order, descriptions yes, written by each vendor. Yes Firefox would be required to be listed since it’s one of the handful not based on chromium. Design literally is just solving these exact kinds of problems and it happens every day, no need to make it a harder problem than it is.
You’re saying all this like people aren’t fucking stupid. They are.
And by extension, you obviously expect to be accused of something like this, because you are bending over backwards to defend a probable rapist.
Innocent until proven guilty was NEVER applied anywhere but a legal context and your willful attempts at ignoring that fact when presented it, indicate you’re exactly as suspect as you originally came off. Great job.
Twitter has always been garbage but now it's way worse than ever before
