Don’t forget the voter suppression before the election. They’ll have long list of blue voters that must be purged because maybe one of them is illegally voting.

That’d make sense.
Any idea what the binary tat is supposed to say? I get “Poeira” from a binary to ASCII converter, which is apparently “Dust” in Portuguese. But that seems kinda an odd choice to have tattooed on yourself in binary.
Hmm… in my case the oldest game I’ve been playing recently is a fan translation of “Metal Max Returns” a 1995 SNES remake of a 1991 Famicom game.
That’s what gets me about that episode, sure the “Warp 10 turns you into a giant salamander” is weird and the whole “Canonically Janeway and Paris have had freaky salamander sex” is kinda strange.
However, when the crew of the Voyager discover that maybe sentient salamanders that are descended from humans have just been introduced into a alien planet they just go “Huh, weird.” and just leave them. They just introduced a species that is not only foreign to the planet but the whole freaking universe. They could track down Salamander Janeway and Paris from orbit, maybe they should spend a week or two trying to capture the sala-babies instead of going, “Welp they crawled into a pool they’re gone forever now”
Lol this wasn’t patched?
From this video it looks like they patched climbing down a invisible ladder, but I guess they never patched going up a invisible ladder.
Well… I’m glad I grabbed the translation patches for Metal Max two and three earlier this week.
the only lasting 9/11 memory i have is when the budweiser ad with the kneeling clydesdales came on during the super bowl and i said “those horses are praying to mecca” and my friend’s uncle got so mad that he had to go in the backyard
That’s hilarious.
Also god damn I’m old, 9/11 happened when I was in college.
It’s so nice to see a developer doing this rather then going the “Here’s a updated version of the game! Also we’re removing access the originals so it’s the only version available now.” route.
If you liked the SNES Megaman X games you’ll like 20XX.
I wonder how good of a wooden axe you could make? Like what if you carved the axe head out of lignum vitae or something.
I’m guessing “free gift” means they can’t sell them and don’t want to pay to dump them.
Pyracantha, they’re in the rose family.
The berries are sorta edible, sorta poisonous. Basically they took the “cyanide in apple seeds” trick and cranked it up to eleven, so you don’t want to eat the fruits. However you can boil the fruits to extract the juice and make a jelly out of it.
Are you sure those aren’t nylon bags? Anyway I’ve found PLA’s biodegradability highly over rated. When Sunchips were doing those PLA bags I threw one into a worm bin, when I emptied the bin a year later it looked pretty much unchanged.
Don’t I know it. My house is right next to a highway and was apparently placed by someone who loved the sound of engine breaking. I probably have tire rubber dust settling on everything outside.
Well shit. I guess I’m gonna have a lot of micro plastics in my compost then.
God I hate those. Paper tea bags you can toss into the fireplace or in the compost depending on the time of year, but those plastic ones you can’t do anything but chuck them into the trash.
Eh, I’m gonna disagree. There were plenty of YA novels at about that time that were popular enough to get movies, were liked by girls and were written by women. The Hunger games, Divergent, heck even Harry Potter caught hardly any flak (well with the exception being when J.K. Rowling decided to take a hard right down Terf street).
IMO the reason why Twilight and Stephenie get so much hate is A) Stephenie isn’t a very good writer, and B) the central theme of the books is how important it is to have a boyfriend/be horny for a guy who wants to kill and eat you. This the bedrock of the Twilight hate, it’s a bland book with a bland plot which was only successful because tapped into a vein of teenage horny. Like… imagine if the central theme of Harry Potter was how attractive Harry found Voldemort and how much he wanted to bang him and teenagers were going wild for how romantic and inspiring their relationship was. I have a feeling this alternate version of Harry Potter would catch a lot more hate too.
Even more relevant there was that episode where a transporter accident turns Picard, Guinan, Ro and Kiko into twelve year olds and nobody points out they just discovered transporter induced immortality.
What really gets me about that episode is all of the effected characters immediately want to return to their normal age and nobody says “Hold up, I’m very okay with a couple extra decades of life” or centuries in Guinans case I suppose.
I’m holding off on buying this until I clear some stuff in my backlog (and hopefully getting the game at a deeper discount).
However from the videos I’ve watched my only criticism is that some of the games look rather complex and would benefit from supplying more information than a small blurb and a controls page. I wish UFO 50 had taken a page from Retro Game Challenge and had some in-universe game manuals and magazines. Still, since I’m planning on buying it at some point obviously not a deal breaker.
