Call me a cynic, but this also greatly reduces the bargaining power of the voice actor. If he’s not THE voice or Mario, it’s far easier to replace him than it was with Martinet.

Had a blue leather case for my iPhone 12 and it deteriorated really quickly. At the current quality, I think it’s probably for the best that they discontinue the line…

The reason I bought it was a friend of mine who had a really nice one for the X. Not sure if they cut back on quality or if the square corners aged more poorly. But after a few months, the 12’s case looked much worse than it had any right to at MSRP.

Rocking a Peak Design case right now, by the way. Absolutely loving the quality, and the fabric gives off a premium feel as well.

I swore off Samsung for this reason after I had the S3. I thought the bloatware situation had gotten better over the years…

Had a few devices with stock Android that I really liked (such as the Nexus 5 and Moto X) over the years, but even then it’s difficult to escape some of the built-in bullshit.

Kind of gave up on that and switched to iPhone a few years back… You still get the mandatory vendor apps, but at least now I also get the ecosystem benefits.
