I think “without rambling” is more than just a stretch. Dude was all over place, but he was able to ramble clearly.

The time after the meeting is spent not wanting to engage in tasks you can’t accomplish before end of day, and watching the clock knowing the meeting screwed up the day.
I disagree. You can have low angle intercepts where the nose can be pointed well less than nose-on or almost the same direction even. Inertia in space would have the nose pointed away from the other ship in some direction to decelerate. I think your comment completely disregards vectors of thrust and velocity along with the relative motion of the target. Nose-to-nose would be an incredibly unlikely arrangement to intercept or rendezvous. Maybe you’re thinking more orbital mechanics where nose/nose would be right for say docking, but even then it disregards the maneuvering to catch up/decelerate/orbital altitude maneuvering needed prior to that meetup.
Andor is really slow art. It takes a while to build, but once you’re in, you’re hooked. Can’t wait for season 2, either. People were really concerned when Disney took over SW, and the modern movies are pretty mid (except Rogue One, which is amazing), however the series that have come out of their takeover have been mostly fantastic or at the very least just enjoyable. Andor and Mandalorian being the stars. Boba Fett was pretty disappointing though.

#1 reason I stick with PCs. Apple deciding that it knows best and deciding how users get to use their machines thanks to the Apple walled garden.
Windows would like to catch up, but thankfully you’re still free to completely break it if you want.
But you had to deliberately look for BBSs that contained what you wanted. Platforms weren’t as all-encompassing as they are now compared to the scattered and independent phpBB groups of yesteryear. People didn’t have social media in their faces all the time. You had to dial-up and go looking for whatever it was, whether it was AIM, ICQ, or your favorite forum.
No, social media in the super-limited context that it existed in 20 years ago wasn’t an issue. It absolutely is an issue today because of their size, popularity, ease of access, and definitely the algorithms.
Nostalgia is you forgetting or not knowing the bad parts.
If we weren’t doing any of the “green shit” that we’ve been working in for decades we’d probably be a decade further down the catastrophe hole than we are.
It will smell of burned meat (not carefully grilled), burned hair (same material as feathers), and burned shit. Along with whatever infrastructure went up with it.
Still sound good?
Different rules for me than thee.
lol, what?
“Normal” person: I think vaccines are bad! We should punish medical professionals for making at-risk people have them!
“Normal” person: I think we should force this woman to give birth to a fetus with no heartbeat. Because abortions and abortifacients bad.
“Normal” person: Yes, dewormer is an effective treatment for covid. We should punish doctors for refusing to administer it.
Last damn thing we need is normal people telling experts the validity of their expertise.

Someone had to be the first Porthos.
One of the things I haven’t seen yet is that this may push people to upsize their drinks so McD’s can charge more. If you know you can’t get a refill some may choose the larger drink.
Profit.
We’ll just use it to make warp drive missiles and torpedos to kill each other quicker with.
