Reddit got fucked because it was centralized. Lemmy is decentralized, grassroots. But, lemmy.world is actively trying to centralize. They’re already repeating the errors of Reddit.
Today I blocked .world and kept all the instances they keep telling me to blindly hate.
That doesn’t make any sense. It’s simple:
We couldn’t get Pheebo anywhere but on Poob. But, Grumpy lost the rights. He kept Pheebo on Poob until the executives got arrested. Now we can’t get Pheebo.
I didn’t have the time or energy to communicate with the user I’d hastily judged as “problematic”. The problem was that they were costing me time and energy.
It’s a joke, right?
