I try to be ready to leave, meaning dressed and bag is packed, as early as possible. I am for being as ready as possible at least 15 minutes before I leave. I add and subtract minutes depending on how important the event is and how much I need to have checked before leaving.

also, I try to aim for being at least 10 minutes early for most events. this is working very good for me. it allows small talk with other people who’ve arrived and it allows time for being late.

it is time consuming, but I’ve come to enjoy the breaks it gives, before leaving and when arriving early ^^

also, thinking through what I need to prepare before leaving as early as possible. Often, I think about it the afternoon before I have to pack.

Of course I know people of any race can be Muslim, but the idea of race is much more than just the colour of a person’s skin. Race is tied to culture is tied to religion. I could have used any word instead of racist, like ‘anti-muslim’, ‘xenophobic’ or just plain ‘hateful’. I used racist, because I believe all these things are connected, and by calling it racist I hope people can see that.

Also, I’m an atheist myself, but Atheists really need to stop our war on religion. I hate organized religion and I will fight discrimination when I see it. But let people be.

maybe - it’s my local circus and they’re very nice - the thing is, a lot of the other volunteers are not tech savvy, and likely won’t change to a new platform unless a lot of energy is put into making the transition easy - but it might be a project for the future :))
