Eventually that tape will fail. Gravity and physics never will.

They just randomly increased my cell phone bill by 12% with absolutely no warning or reason. How the hell is that legal? What’s stopping them from randomly increasing it 100% sometimes and just stealing my money?
Are they trying to prove that they can vote without being identified or something?
I mean, do you expect news to be free?
Either pay for it by selling your data or with money, or don’t use their website.
You can also make rose hip tea. One rose hip has more vitamin C than an orange.
How is it not a legal obligation? Aren’t reserves technically federal land under the law? If my landlord didn’t provide me with drinkable water I’m pretty sure that would be a legal issue.
For me I mostly just dislike the location of it. I have accidentally hit it many times. Would be better if it were somewhere up near the f1-f12 keys.
Nintendo has been on my list of most hated companies for awhile now. Just can’t stand how they operate and design their games.
It’s been tanking for a lot longer than that
Alrighty, I live in BC. Next pandemic I vote we close the road passes to Alberta to anyone not vaccinated.
Also the cost of starlink is well known, I looked into it and found it to not be affordable for our situation myself and decided against it. It’s a few hundred for the equipment itself and then I believe at the time it was around $140 a month.
I work in mosquito control, it’s been generally fairly well known as far as I know. Light traps use black light bulbs as one of the methods to attract mosquitos because the lack of visible light cuts down on the number of bycatch like moths but the bulb still generates heat to attract the mosquitos, usually paired with dry ice for CO2.
Universities make money hand over fist, not sure they need any more public funding. They tend to have more administrators than professors and teachers and it just seems super wasteful.
There should almost be some sort of technological transfer to nearby empires, like cultural influence. If your neighbour is at 10000 tech points or whatever while you are at 1000, you should be able to leech some tech points from your neighbour to develop faster.
Transfer rate increases with the disparity between nations and decreases with distance.
So a super advanced empire on continent A will contribute to nations on continent A and B, but those on continent A get more of a bonus than those on B.
This aligns fairly well with reality as neighbouring countries would transfer students to universities all the time, less so the further the nations are apart.
Technically most of the fires in Canada happen up in the north where it’s dense spruce and pine conifer stands which don’t turn into your typical “old growth” type forest that you picture from the movies. Stands that are hundreds of years old will burn almost just as easily as a decades old stand. Forest fires are a natural part of their life cycle.
The typical “old growth” forests that are fairly fire resistant are found in the coastal rainforests which don’t typically see much fires as it’s pretty rare in the damp and humid environment.
Plus I prefer to have things in writing so I don’t forget a small detail, or if someone fucks up and I can point out exactly what I told them needed to be done.
Where do votes from abroad get counted? Last state you lived in? State you were born in?
Why allow rental rate hikes instead of allowing the tenants to purchase the building dirt cheap?
They would if they paid more.
If you aren’t finding employees, offer more money, don’t look abroad for people.
If you need to increase your prices to afford it, then increase your prices
If your restaurant doesn’t survive because people think it’s too expensive, that’s the free market.
If only they let you filter out games from being seen on your store page or showing up in recommendations using this as a criteria.
