The plot thickens, do keep us apprised of developments. The polished surface should make it easier to remove contaminants.

The www in particular
I installed one of these new displays this past weekend and it looks fantastic in Linux. Granted I’ve only tried Plasma so far on Wayland but that’s because I really don’t find Gnome usable. It looks good at 200% though and a similar scale to 150% on the old display.
“since LBP2 servers are no longer active” - sounds about right. Incredible work and dedication by this guy.
Is this why Matt Tkachuk is always passionately chewing on his instead of using it for its intended purpose?
A UDM-pro might be a good option in addition to some of the other suggestions here.
This is quite the comprehensive list. A nice reference for the future. Hopefully he keeps it up to date as the list of offenses grows.
HA is an absolute treasure.
Minimalism is an excuse by software companies to remove useful features that they’re too lazy to maintain.
There’s something called SylphyHorn that helps sort out some of this. Unfortunately for me it’s broken on my work computer because of something in their security software.
Until you use a Microsoft office application and it is fundamentally broken with virtual desktops. If you try to open a document on one desktop it’ll switch to another if you had a different document open. There’s little glitches throughout the entire experience that make it so mediocre.
I agree. My copy came yesterday and the PS5 is really holding this game back. The PC version can’t come soon enough. It also stinks that the first PC version will almost certainly end up being on Epic before steam.
Derek Chauvin… The guy who killed George Floyd.
There is absolutely no reason to be such a giant jerk in this thread.
A few thoughts come to mind… 1) Some of their customers may only be customers because of HA compatibility. 2) HA does not require a cloud API to function - a LAN based solution is usually preferred anyway. 3) There are far more diplomatic ways to approach this issue.
I’m so glad I’m not alone in this opinion. It’s absurd.
If you can’t move a basic toilet without breaking it then maybe you shouldn’t be in a trade that requires the use of your hands. They’re not fragile.
Well at least it doesn’t fire off background processes even if you don’t use it.
The Longest Journey. Wonderful story, great voice acting, beautiful environment.
It reminds me in a lot of ways of FFXIV. It was made by a lot of the same people so that’s no surprise. It’s fairly dark but it’s a good story. The expansions are way too short - I had hoped they’d add more depth to some of the back story.
I enjoyed the game a lot in spite of its shortcomings. It doesn’t have as much “extra stuff” to do as many other final fantasies but the core game is solid.
I ended up picking up the PC version to play through again. The PS5 version is held back a lot by the platform.
