I just started Survival, and the day-cycle rhythm of playing is intense.
I love when it’s my bedtime, but there’s still a few hours of Wasteland sunshine before my character gets her full 8 hours of sleep.
The luxury I deny myself.

Not Icelandic, but I’ve been following the situation closely.
This is an evolving issue. Grindavik, the town on the far side of this has been severely damaged by earthquakes and is currently surrounded by a berm that’s (mostly) holding the lava flow back. The Svartsengi power plant is likewise protected by a berm and has had the pipes supplying hot water to Reikiavik damaged and repaired.
Geologist Sean Willsey has been providing outstanding coverage on the subject.
And red ones mean you fucked up, big time.
Anton Petrov’s explanation of this situation
This is always the question that trips me up.
I’m 5 years younger than OP. I work in a municipal transportation power system job (we maintain and control the grid for trains, trolleys, etc.). I’m sure I’m wasting all sorts of effort in my professional life. I have time. I got a lot out of learning Power Automate. However, if you ask me to pick one specific project, I get overwhelmed because I don’t know what’s reasonable.
I don’t know enough to know if my ideas are achievable, or if I’d just be bashing my head against the wall. I don’t know if they’re laughably simple tasks, multimillion-dollar propositions, or Goldilocks ideas that would be perfect to learn a coding language.
Photograph you can smell
That’s what it said in the title, a quarter century ago.

Yeah, I remember reading one of the early Wallander books, with an opening sequence set in a “rape field.” The series is so dark, I had to continue reading to make sure.
I’m imagining one poor caretaker with a leaf blower lol
It’s an accreditation and award from Dark Sky International , an Arizona nonprofit organization. So, yeah, they probably aren’t running around Siberia with light meters.
Still, I appreciate their efforts. Apparently OR had to make some changes to get the title. Effective, too. I hadn’t really thought about the area much. Now, I’d like to go spend some time in the high desert, looking at stars.
I find skin-colored pants to be consistently distracting. I don’t know that people who wear them understand what it looks like from half a block away.
I love this series.
I’m glad to see it available to any new audience. I hope they were faithful to the first and third titles. It’d be nice if they fixed Clear Sky. I never did make it to the end of that one.
Borderlands 3. I’ve never tried it in multiplayer, and it certainly isn’t as well written as 2, but it’s fun and it has cross play.
Maybe OP is talking video-game-technology generations, rather than company-specific?
Same. Fruit cocktail, too.
Mix in some peach herbal tea bags for another 15 cents?
What the hell’s up with those chin straps?
