Why yes, that’s how things that are older than other things tend to work. The Earth formed 4.5 billion years ago, which is closer in time to the TNG premier (15 years 10 months) than it is to now.

I’m a single-issue voter. What is your plan for the psychopaths running loose and destroying our country by putting anchovies on perfectly good pizzas? This is very important.
You also need a Steam account, to which all your games are linked. If you somehow get perma-banned off of Steam, you lose everything.
One benefit an app for something like Lemmy offers is significantly better customization.
I imagine you can avoid the EA shit if you pirate it.
In that persons comment, they removed several “silent” e’s, but all but one changed the word’s pronunciation. I was talking about them. Like the E in hate. It doesn’t make a sound itself, so isn’t it still silent?
I don’t mind silent e’s, they do actually change the way words are pronounced at least.
Bro gives edge lord a whole different meaning.
The movies really aren’t anything incredible. Luke loses practically every fight he has, the dialog and CGI in the prequels were horrendous, and the sequels… yeah. I don’t think most of them are bad movies, but for how popular it is? I believe Star Wars is held up quite a bit by how cool a large chunk of it is. Vader looks sick af, and laser swords are badass.
But there are some really good TV shows, games, and, from what I hear, comics as well. I think the movies are probably the weakest part of the Star Wars universe.
This is how I handle pirating. I more or less treat pirating as a demo for the game. If I liked the game enough to finish it, 9/10 times I’m going to actually buy it unless I have some personal reason not to, like the dev being a pos I don’t wish to support or something.
I’m also a supporter of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Turkey community.
Depends. I think this is a fair assumption for many games, but if you think people are going to stop buying the latest CoD or Madden or TES6 (whenever that comes out) every single year just because the games suddenly cost $200 for the deluxe edition, i think you’re greatly overestimating the average gamer’s self control.
Just as a reminder, the only thing the original comment that I replied to said was:
To be fair, you can’t exactly ask for a GIMP replacement on r/GIMP and not expect that reaction
There was no context in the original image or the original comment that the OP was being an ass about it. All I was arguing is that you shouldn’t immediately expect toxicity if you’re not being toxic yourself. I do agree it’s not the proper place to ask, and that your answers aren’t going to be super helpful.
Depends on how you ask.
“This is a horrible program and I hate everything about it. Any of you actually using this program are masochists and need to get some help. Anyway, can you idiots recommend some alternatives?”
vs
“I tried out this program and didn’t really like it, it was too complicated to use (or) doesn’t have a feature I need, do you guys know of any good alternatives I can try out?”
Apparently the OP in this image was closer to the first one, so I don’t really blame them for being toxic. But if I asked like in the second example and these are the responses I get, they’re the problem, not my question.
In what way do you think evolution enslaves us?
Tbf it’s a lot harder to edit a gif than a picture. Removing author credit is lame af though. It was very obviously intentionally done.
That explains so much. I used to play legacy console but was always confused about why I wasn’t traveling as far as I should have been when going to the nether.
This is the official wiki page btw. https://minecraft.wiki/w/The_Nether
Well, Terraria 1.4 was initially going to be version 1.3.6 until they kept adding more and more. This could end up the same way.
