The problem is these people solved some novel problem in the world with their programming skills and it made them really rich. They have been lavished with praise, money, and attention their entire lives. They think they’re smart and that gives them license to invite themselves into other areas that they have no experience in. An example is obviously Elon Musk wading in to government, but even back during Covid he was making predictions about the spread of the disease, even when he had no background in medical science. His predictions were wildly wrong.

I already never intend to play it. I only care about single player. Hopefully this means the game is cheaper.

Point 2 is the biggest for me. I haven’t played more than 30 minutes of gta5 online. Single player story is where it’s at. Wish we got more DLC.

They can try, but it might not work. GTA VI has been in development for like more than a decade and will probably have loads of content. I could see $100 being justified. But not every other AAA game would be the same. Most wouldn’t in fact.

That said, video games have been $50-60 for the last 25 years. If they’d kept up with inflation, they’d be close to $110. So, I get it.

I got walking pneumonia last year. Took some antibiotics and got rid of it, but it basically brought back my childhood asthma. I’ve been stuck with it for about 10 months now. Really eye opening to me how long it has lasted.

Well, my view of the Apple Intelligence changes is that they were a bit gimmicky. Notification summaries are more annoying than useful. Emoji generator is fun, but not really necessary.

The best feature is that you can now ask Siri to send your request to ChatGPT. Siri doesn’t seem much improved itself. Apple should put the bulk of its effort in to improving Siri.

At what point is it cheaper to disconnect from the grid and just use solar with a back up generator? 50 cents+ per kWh is insane.
