Nope. Both pamac and octopi work fine with EndeavourOS. In fact, they work better because the packages are not delayed like they are in Manjaro.

It is worse than that. In North America, you have to assume the occupants are not wearing seatbelts. That means bigger, less directional airbags for example. Less safe if you are wearing a belt. Safer if you are not. In Europe by contrast, you can design with the assumption that safety belts are being used.

I know little about Chinese automotive standards but I assume they are looser. That said, simply not having anchors for car seats is enough “not to meet safety standards”. Those are easy to add. These things do not always mean what you think they do.

There has been a massive move away from China. They are still a major force but the West and China are moving apart. The vehicle tariffs are just an example of that.

I would not be surprised to see Tesla factories in Mexico. Chinese manufacturing is increasingly domestic and regional.

A million a year barely lifts you beyond the middle class these days. You would still need a mortgage ( at least for a couple of years ) where I live.

I think maybe $10 million would be better. But I prefer a progressive system over a cap. Earning more money should always make you more money. People respond to incentives. We just need to increase the tax rate as high as 90% by the time you are making $10 million or more.

If a few billionaires had $100 million, it would not wreck society.

I have been using Arch and EOS a lot longer with no borks.

Been using EOS a lot longer and always flawless.

Any positive inflation number means that prices are still going up. It is just a question of how fast.

In my house, I have Linux machines that print flawlessly and reliably to our HP laser. My wife has an iMac and I swear I have to install it fresh every time she goes to print. But the absolute best printing experience? Over WiFi from an iPhone. Crazy.
