Isn’t it free up to a certain amount?
Also aren’t you able to create steam keys for free and resell them wherever you want and they won’t take a cut off those?
Let’s make it to 100 days!
It’s all good share how much you want.
That sounds like a cool friend. Thank you for your recommendations as well :)
I see
Thanks anyway for the input
I realize now that you probably have like twice my age and I’m very much an adult. Which is pretty cool, don’t get me wrong :)
Noted
I don’t really listen to audiobooks but it’s always good to know.
Also what’s your opinion on the rest of the trilogy that neuromancer is part of? I have the second book as well as my gf bought it but she didn’t have the courage/will to actually read it after neuromancer. Just curious
And yes I’ll let you know how it goes :)
We got our own book club in this thread haha (at least what I read)
Hey!!
Contact is read!!
I really liked it. In a story about ET contact, the focus is basically almost 100% on humans but I actually liked the approach. Halfway there were some chapters where it went on some tangents and it seemed weird filler but by the end it all wrapped up rather nicely.
It was also a much easier read, having taken like 1/10 of the time Red Mars took me.
I’ll probably read Neuromancer next, even if my gf found it a hard read.
Yea, playing as a no name witcher, doing Witcher things would be cool af
At work atm so I’ll keep it succinct but definitely the giant cast of mostly uninteresting characters. The politics were actually quite ok but I usually like that sort of things.
Also sometimes he goes on these long paragraphs were he describes all the driving instructions in mars and expecting the reader to have lived on Mars for 10 years as well XD
He also gave as much emphasis to a teenager-like love drama as to a global scale terrorism operation which is, let’s say interesting
Hey!! I’m done with Red Mars
If you are still around I can add some of my thoughts.
The TL:DR is that I like it enough to read through the first one but not enough to buy/read the second and third books (at least for now).
Will probably read Contact by Sagan next.
Oh I loved Hades so I’ll be getting this very soon. Maybe once I’m done with Sekiro this will be the next I’ll play.
At this point I’ll never finish Nier Replicant…
Why the fuck would he off himself just before I can actually testify against Boeing?? If he hadn’t managed to get the case to court or even after he had testified then I could see it, but this timing is suspicious AF. He could have died naturally and it’s just super bad timing but ain’t no way he killed himself at this point in time.
I mean… do you trust that they won’t?
They probably will as soon as they can without significant losses.
Have fun!!
That would work
We play it on my pc which is wired directly to the tv. We use 2 XBOX controllers but PS4 ones will work just as well.
You will probably want to have a pretty big screen because it’s almost always split screen (except in some dialogues if that other player listens to the convo). However you can always set the fonts to a bigger size which is super helpful.
Unfortunately it’s not like DOS 2 where the split screen merges when you are close together but that’s not the end of the world. The game has turn based combat so even if you have some streaming delays it’s not a big deal.
Your frame rate will drop a bit on Act 3 but it gets better with every patch.
If you have any more questions let me know.
BG3 with my GF. After almost 200h we are closing the wrapping out first play through.
Alone I recently started Nier Replicant after having played Automata last year. Different feel to it and the quests are fairly basic atm (go here, do that) but I owe it to the developers to play it.
The vast majority of landlords doesn’t do any of that. They just pay for it to professional people from the revenue that they get from renting the house. The only labor that they perform is maximizing rent and minimizing maintenance costs (usually at the expense of the renters) and having to find new tenants from time to time.
The majority of the revenue is simply achieved by having the asset or capital to acquire said asset. They don’t really provide any service that wouldn’t exist without them, they are simply exploiting an asset and people that need a place to live.
There are heat pumps that exchange heat with the ground. Those can function well in more extreme temperatures. Also you could/should have alternative heating methods for extreme situations even if they are much more inneficient
So 3 years? How long did that take epic? About the same time almost 2 decades later?
Keep up the good work
You will be one of the Lemmy legends in the future
