Co-op would a antithesis to entire design of the game. Thw unique control scheme is central to its story. Two sons is a great single player game to wrap your head around what are fairly basic puzzles, but having two players would just be bland and generic, It was never intended for two people, and to make remake it as on would essentially be making a entirely separate game

100% with ya, the double standards are kinda crazy. The differnce between the first two panels is pretty stark in regards to the kid, even if the point is essentially the same.

My take is that male bodies need to exposed in order to be sexualized so they read vulnerable, but female bodies are can be read as sexualized and vulnerable regardless how they are presented. But that doesn’t really explain panel 4 & 6.

Just finished The Lathe of Heaven by Ursula K LA Guin, which was absolutely fantastic but so is all her books. Techincally Sci-fi but only in the loosest sense to describe sociology and the narcissism involved in thinking one person can “fix the world”.

Of COURSE everyone can suffer at the hands of abusers, but without the context that women statistically suffer violence more often then men twists that fact of child abuse in to a distraction of reality. Of course not all men are MGTOW, that was never what I was saying. What I am trying to tell you is that the types of groups that adhere to mysgontic tropes (anti-woke, incels, red pill, MRA and the entire manosphere) greatly outnumber Mens Liberation groups that actually address patriarchy in a healthy productive way for the men involved. Toxic masculinity does not deal with depression, emotionality or fostering friendships like OP was talking about, but they ARE the most prevalent. The solution to this inherently has to come from men spaces, but more often than not red pill nonsense is what is promoted. This isn’t something that women can fix, its something that men truly interested in helping do for other men struggling with mental health can fix by promoting other spaces aside from the manosphere. It’s just not as common.
