Because people have a different opinion than you, you feel “bad” for me? Well I don’t feel a bit bad for you.

Wikipedia is nefarious as fuck and nobody should trust it.
Curious what resources you’ve consulted that state Unity can or will charge for every pirated copy. How is the feasible and by what legal mechanisms would they enforce this?
I’m truly a neutral party, I don’t play many games but I understand what’s going on here a little bit.
You clearly have a jaded viewpoint to it for better or worse and I’m not sure that’s warranted and is a bit disingenuous.
Thanks! I actually already have a PIA subscription that I use frequently
Well, not sure if I have that then.
Thanks, I just realized what community I was in lol. Stumbled in here from the everything tab, so now I understand the technical stuff!
I’ll stick around here a while you’ll have me!
Yes you’re totally correct, I’ll have to do some more reading.
I will check into this Trailscale. Thanks!
No I believe upnp took care of that in some form, Plex sets it up.
I’m curious, just checked out their site.
I’m a little alarmed at needing to modify SSL and port forward and all that shit. My experiences haven’t been great with port forwarding in the past.
In short jelly fin doesn’t seem as easy as you are all making it out to be.
The sound of nails being clipped or bitten.
Well, I hear ya - but a vast majority of what helped Reddit (or any community) pick up, is DIY and self generated content.
If that content can’t be found easily - ex; via search engine, or the content is entirely missing, then it doesn’t really help either cause. That’s just my 2 cents, because let’s face it, the search on Lemmy is fragmented and I think the help of big data could be promising.
Definitely. And as a metalhead I know full well who he is 😁 ha! Just trying to catch the eye of the masses.
Because some idiots don’t feel like they’re parked until the front mud flap is scraping and eventually ripped off.
The leftist echo chambers of Lemmy are seriously disheartening.
Think of them like email servers. There are many, they all can talk to each other, and the tech is not new.
