If I can’t share a Curly Wurly then it’s not a revolution.
It’s such a genuinely unhinged document. I was reading it after seeing some specific page numbers online and I wanted to see the original source. it’s just a fucked view of the world.
I know it’s celebrity news, so might not be true but the story of his special contract clause has been around for a while now.
"During our filming, JM closed the Kang deal. I remember asking said friend about it, and they shared some details. X number of movies, X number of dollars, and more interestingly, due to the nature of the character and potential multiple versions, JM had a contract clause stating that only he could play any and all versions of Kang.”
His contract said he was the only person who could play Kang in any multiverse.
Matthew 17:20, NIV He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
I was raised Evangelical and yeah, my parents took that literally.
This post just makes me more convinced that we’re going to see another Trump term… I’m not in the US, but from over here I can’t see how it doesn’t go that way.
I’ll be honest it was a huge question that hung over my wife and I when we were trying to decide whether to have kids or not. But we were in our mid 30s and it was a ‘now or never’ type situation.
Believe it not there is positives in raising kids. We’re definitely not judgemental of people who decide they don’t want to. But I love my kids more than I knew it was possible. And we’re trying to raise them with an understanding of the world that’s a bit broader than the ra-ra pro-capital values we were taught as kids.
I had to tweak some settings on my PC and lower the output to 720p but mine seems to work pretty well with that.
You’re both nuts…that’s too much.
Gold star content. I don’t know why but this reminded me of my experience playing Sudden Strike for the first time.
Mmmhmm I know some of those words. Chan boards always make me feel like such a Normie.
What a ridiculous edgelord.
Sounds like Crash Team Racing.
That had chattel slavery. Which suggests they didn’t rely on a mechanised workforce.
The massive amount of work that goes into a modern AAA title is truly mind blowing. It’s gross that so little money goes to the people who actually make the games but certainly the effort is astounding even in titles that fall short of expectations.
We all know where this ends up. Remove all regulation and corporations are free to create their own conditions of employment. We’ve been here before. When there was no mandatory minimum leave, people worked every day till they died. When there was no universal healthcare people died because they couldn’t afford treatment. When there was no operational health and safety people died in excruciating pain as their lungs consumed themselves from the inside out because PPE was expensive and their labour wasn’t. When there was no minimum wage people were paid in company scrip, not cash. When there was no minimum working age, children lost limbs in doing dangerous work because they had to support their families. When there was no child protection agencies families sold their kids to farmers, pimps and bandits to pay for tomorrow’s meals. When there was no food safety standards, bread was adulterated with sawdust to make up the weight. Government regulations are written in a history of blood and suffering due to the greed of capitalists. Anyone who wants to return to the 1800s deserves the social upheaval that comes with it.
Remember the partition of India? Remember the Nakba?
Telling 1 million people that they no longer have a home never ends well.
I know this might not apply elsewhere as I'm in Australia, but I always bring up that your union fees are totally tax deductible so you get it all back at tax time.
Of course. It's a Murdoch newspaper they're the shittiest of shit tier capitalists.
