Is there a “real” or primary manufacturer? I looked it up and it looks cool, but it’s an endless sea of knockoffs with very different prices.

I’ve been doing software development for 20 years and use a GUI (GitKraken) almost exclusively. I know all the commands, but using a GUI makes self-reviewing my code as I commit it a LOT easier. It’s also way less error prone and makes visualizing complex branching/merging operations easier to understand. It’s overkill if you’re working solo or with a very small team though; I regularly work on projects with dozens of active branches.

We called them “luggables”. They’re expensive, but having a server in a box with a monitor was worth it when you could lug it to a customer site and give a live demo of your server stuff. We were doing telephony stuff and you could put a $5000 dialogic pcie card in it and demonstrate call handling live. We can do that with software on a standard issue laptop these days, but the luggable helped seal the deal back in 2005.
Sweet! Shapez is a great take on factory games.
JavaScript and TypeScript are separated? Umm, ok.
Ferengi are Sphinx Khajiit
Yes, that’s the joke. But partner abuse isn’t a funny punchline.
I was diagnosing a network bottleneck at a customer site that didn’t make any sense. Literally everything had gigabit connections except one block of cubicles, but all the devices were connected to the same subnet router for that part of the building. Started tracing wires like you did and found that someone didn’t have a long enough cable when building the office and installed a 10 megabit linksys switch in the drop ceiling to connect two short cables. Rather than fix the cable, the customer just went to Best buy and bought a gigabit Linksys switch to replace it… A multi-million dollar operation is being held together by a $10 switch…
The audio in this game really seals the deal. You’re just swimming along collecting resources and hear a terrifying roar. But you look around and can’t see where it came from… Do you keep going or nope the fuck outta there and go take a breather in your life pod for 20 mins while your heart rate comes back down?
Being able to build vertically makes it a very different experience. Using a hyper tube chain to yeet yourself all the way across the map is chef’s kiss.
The blueprints are helpful for mid to late game when you need to set up dozens of the same thing. It’s not a perfect system, but can definitely be a time saver.
The combat is totally different. There’s no raid/defense mechanism. The mobs have a fixed spawn point. They’ll stop respawning once you start building around that point. Once you learn the appropriate attack/dodge maneuver for each type, they’re barely even a nuisance to kill.

I got the Eufy S330 doorbell/keypad lock. The kids have their own pin and can lock/unlock without a key. I get notifications when they use it and can remotely lock/unlock via my phone. It’s been fantastic for us.
I’d agree with that, but calling it privilege is a bad name. Because how do you implement equality when dealing with privilege? You take from the privileged to level the playing field. So when you apply that to being privileged because you aren’t being discriminated against, the solution is to remove that privilege? So… do more discrimination so everyone is equal?
When you instead identify those that are oppressed and those that are not, the solution to equality is to remove the oppression. So when applied to our situation, remove the discrimination so everyone is equally not discriminated against.
They were just trying to protect everyone from dihydrogen monoxide poisoning. Bibi saw a Facebook post about its dangers.
I never said that. Sounds like you’re projecting.
Do you also support “just say no to drugs” and abstinence only sex ed? Screens, as a concept, are not literally the devil. It’s unmonitored and unlimited screen time that’s the issue.
E: Damn y’all are dense. “Just say no” was a failed messaging campaign from the war on drugs. The alternative isn’t “say yes to drugs”; it’s actual education about drugs so you know what they are and the actual dangers they can pose. The “just say no” campaign taught that weed was a “gateway drug” and that everyone that tries the devil’s lettuce will start using cocaine, amphetamines, and there’s a 100% chance you’ll become a homeless junkie and die of an overdose. It was about as ignorant as you can get.
That’s what it looks like when I’m logged out. It’s just a bunch of nerd shit when I’m logged in. Don’t click the tits, not even once.
Hmmm. I always thought it was about a donkey named Hotay.
Ugh, Westminster, CO. Most showings in the Denver area are at least half full. But most theaters aren’t showing it at all.
